Stayed one night here a few weeks ago during a biz trip. Not sure if there are any alternatives but the Limpias Parador is a cheap way to stay in a parador (usually much more expensive). Confortable and friendly staff.

The PARADOR lies in the small village of Limpias out of the main way. We choose it as it was close to Bilbao and the coast. We found very enchanting friendly parador. Crew was efficient, restaurant SUPER and rooms amicable. Fefinitly a good value for money

This parador is splendid example of Iberian archtecture at the end of the 19th Century with parallels to the Scottish architectural tradition of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. A relaxing and elegant hotel with a good restaurant. Easy access from Santander and Bilbao.
