Doesn't look particularly wonderful, quite a modern building, but the interior, the rooms, the restaurant, the welcome and the views were all first-class. At the end of a very scenic road from Potes, this hotel is ideal for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors. We were unlucky with the weather when we arrived but next morning the skies cleared and... First class lodge in the Cantabrian Mountains inside the Parque Nacional Picos de Europa. Each room has an enclosed terrace with countryside and mountain views. Typical regional cuisine served in the dining room. Enjoy an excellent half day or full day outing by taking the cable car up to the peaks and then trekking down.

This Hotel is in the perfect location if you like walking, climbing, cycling and just generally being outdoors. Located opposite a cable car you are just minutes away from mountain walks and stunning scenery. The Hotel is clean, but what lets it down is the price of the Restaurant food which is pretty high and clearly priced on the basis... More

The place is amazing, views breath taking and quiet atmosphere which personally I love :) ... very helpful stuff even for people speaking English ... whole area worse to communicate .... no Air Condition even if on all of the websites advertised with it. Air Conditioning installation is working as a heater. Lovely balcony, wooden furniture... what I liked was... More

This was an incredible find- beautiful and spacious rooms, outstanding customer service, and the most incredible view! It was a perfect location to be able to hike as we were right at the base of the mountains! We'll definitely be back, and next time we'll stay longer!!!

After a stunning drive through the Picos mountain range, we got to this fairly unattractive modern Parador sitting at the base of an impressive cliff with lovely views all around. It's quite funny, the system with these Paradors, it is a bit like checking into an old Soviet hotel with the formalities and paper work. However, that is a minor... More

We enjoyed our 2 night visit at the Parador. The best thing going for it is its beautiful location. Rooms are large, but old -- the floors creak. You can readily hear the people walking by your door and the room above you. Large bathroom. I guess if I could change one thing, it would be the restaurant. Fairly limited... More

We stayed in a standard double room at this Paradore for four nights. The room was a good size with a lovely, covered balcony (with a table and chairs) looking towards the mountains. Ideal for bird watching in comfort from your room ! The en-suite bathroom was also a good size and clean with a shower over a bath. Our... More

The hotel is located in a very good place. The room was quite large but no space was left for the bathroom. It is so small that where ever you move yo hit your self. As for the resturant, we ate dinner which was very expensive. The food was OK. Not more and not less. We did not eat breakfast.... More

This was our third Parador during our hoilday. The food at dinner and breakfast was really good for us. The room was excellent. The problem I had was the service. The first evening we were booked for their first sitting which is 8.30 p.m. In the restaurant. At this Parador there were more children staying and I really felt sorry... More
