This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. Patricia was so welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Patricia arranged for us to visit Newgrange and it was so close. We enjoyed our visit and would go back there anytime. Thanks Patricia.

We arrived at Lougher Farm travel weary and were warmly welcomed. Our room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room airy and light with large windows. Patricia is a peach. Fred and Charlie (the dogs) were great company, as we missed our puppy at home. Patricia reserved our tour at Newgrange, which is just up the street.... More

Perfect location for visiting all the ancient sites in Meath Co, Ireland. Newgrange Passage tombs, 5th Century Crosses, mysterious Round Towers, Castles, Abbots, sacred wells, and more! Lovely hostess, Patricia, sets you straight and feeds you like royalty. We were there for three nights and would go back in a heartbeat. Simple the best!

We had a one night stay while visiting Newgrange at Loughers. We had a very nice room and enjoyed the friendliness of Patricia. Patricia gave us ideas for dinner and for visiting Hill of Slane which had lovely views. Breakfast was very good and I loved their scones. It is very easy to get to Newgrange from this location and... More

We're so pleased to have stayed 2 nights at this lovely B & B while visiting Newgrange and the surrounding area in late June. Both rooms had bathrooms and were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. My daughter especially loved her room and spending time with Patricia's foster girl, and the animals. The breakfast was delicious, with a large selection. Patricia... More

We enjoyed our one-night-stay at this quiet and lovely b&b very much. The room was a bit on the small size but everything else came in big sizes: Patricia's hospitality, the food and so on. It is a great place to stay when coming to visit the fabulous site of Newgrange.

A superb but too short stay (only 1 night) with three couples of friends in this very nice and quiet place. We got a warm and friendly welcome and Patricia and his husband made everythingh possible for making our stay pleasant. Rooms are clear, clean and well equipped. Irish breakfast is tasteful and extremely complete! Really a great value for... More

We found this lovely B&B by chance (sign on the road) when visiting Newgrange. It was a delight to stay here. Lovely room. Great cooked Irish breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Enjoyable conversations with hosts. Great location for visiting Newgrange. Patricia can book your ticket. This is a working farm B&B. Added plus - you will learn a lot about Ireland from... More

This was the first of several B&Bs we visited over several weeks in Ireland, and Patricia set the bar for the quality of her friendliness, cooking, and cleanliness. Her B&B is very conveniently located for both Newgrange and Knouth (definitely visit the latter!) and, being in the country, is extremely quiet and green. We awoke to birdsong, and had the... More

Just up the road from the Newgrange neolithic site this is a delightful B&B on a working farm. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, separate and very nice sitting room for guests and a separate dining room. Plenty of level parking. Good selection of breakfast options and I chose the full Irish breakfast - the best I had... More
