One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. A lovely Georgian house, comfortable beds, great breakfast and very peaceful. The owner [Mrs Wiseman] was most welcoming. Two good pubs close by, and very convenient for Cambridge.

We stayed in the annex for a few nights while visiting the Cambridge area. The owner is wonderful and very friendly - and very easy to deal with. The bed was comfortable, the area is very quiet and the room was ample in size. We would go back again if we stay in the Cambridge/ Royston area. There are a... More

We stayed here for a one night getaway in January 2014. The accommodation is traditional and very comfortable. The rooms are well equipped (TV, kettle, electric blanket ample towels, complimentary toiletries) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Mrs Wiseman is very welcoming and provided us with a first class breakfast. We would certainly like to return some day.

A fantastic, large, self contained room on the ground floor and fully accessible. As I was staying 5 nights with my dog I wanted somewhere which offered self catering facilities for the evening. A microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and a full complement of cutlery, glassware and crockery meant that I could prepare simple meals to my taste and refrigerate the... More

21 days in England. 1 Hotel, 4 B&Bs, three farm stays. And this was the best absolutely!!!!! Others were good but this one excelled in every way. Jean was the nicest person you would ever want to meet. The room was outstanding. It was in the old part of the house when people were shorter and door ways were lower,... More

Would highly recommend - very clean, old fashioned courtesy and good manners from the hostess and guests alike. Breakfast of superior quality - some produce supplied from Mrs Wiseman's kitchen garden. Mrs Wiseman organised reservations in a good local pub which is walkable to and was able to supply us with tourist information, maps, magazines - I could go on... More

Mrs. Wiseman welcomed us with cups of tea and a lovely sponge cake which we've never had at other b&bs we've used, so we were off to a great start!. Our room was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Mrs. Wiseman recommended a very good local pub for our evening meal which was delicious. A group of... More

Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable but the room was very dusty and there was spilt dried up milk around the kettle and cups. We stayed for 5 nights and the room wasn't serviced at all during our stay, not even the bins emptied. The only brochures about the area were years old and looked very... More

You get both a front door key and a room key so when we needed to return late from a concert there were no issues. Easy to find. Room was large with a TV, microwave, kettle, tea, and even some shampoo and soap for the shower. The shower door closes completely... I don't like the Euro style showers with a... More

This charming farm house has attached 2 self contained bedrooms, with full en suite as well as catering facilities. So you can do your own thing! Another bonus is the excellent dinner available at local pubs. Huge breakfast is served in the house by the lovely Mrs. Wiseman. There is nothing more we want from B&B. Dogs welcome!! Highly recommended.
