My partner and l choose this inn for a mini break, what a delightful place to stay, so relaxing. Staff courteous, couldn't do enough for us. We stayed two nights had our evening meal in the restaurant, couldn't fault it. Breakfast was good and plentiful, cooked to order. All round excellent choice. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed one night in this hotel in June 2014 and wished we had stayed longer. The hotel is located in an old building in the heart of a very charming little village. The room was spacious, clean, modern, and had a huge bathroom with large free standing soaker tub. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was located in... More

Lower Slaughter Inn. This is the most pleasant and delightful hotel to just relax, wind down and let all your cares disappear. All the staff are wonderful, so friendly at all times. Never without a smile and a greeting. The hotel has a number of public rooms off the bar, where you can go for a chat or just to... More

The Inn was beautifully presented and located. The garden leading to the river provides the perfect setting for a gin and tonic or a quiet afternoon. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, the wine list could be improved. The only glitch was at check in, where my friend and I, walking through the Cotswolds, requested on booking a twin share room,... We are currently staying at Lower Slaughter celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and have been so pleased with the high level of service, food and accommodation. The young team care for their guests with enthusiasm and genuinely look as though they are enjoying doing so. Food is well presented, tasty and promptly served. Lovely relaxing place to enjoy a break.

The Inn has beautiful grounds right next to the river and there are walking paths close by. The room I had was large and comfy. However, my daughter and granddaughter had a room over the bar which turned out to be too noisy for my granddaughter to sleep. They left the room on the first night and moved in with... More

We had a really enjoyable stay and dinner at the Slaughters Country Inn. The room was extremely comfortable and the receptionist was charming and helpful. The service at dinner was good but could have been better with a little bit more attention to detail and some more charm from one or two staff members.

We stayed for one night and had a superb experience. Check in was swift and friendly with staff accompanying us to our room (The farrer - they are all named after famous old Etonians) Full afternoon tea served in the bar was exceptional - £15 provided us with stunning sandwiches and a selection of cakes. We ordered 2 and to... More

A great Inn in a great setting. Lovely food in the restaurant and great service. We had a standard double room which was very spacious and with a super king sized bed. The bathroom was really big with separate bath and power shower

The hotel's location in town is picture post card perfect and is a great base for rambling around the Cotswolds. The staff was very friendly. Our unit, the Hawtrey, was clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. The unit had a locked door which led to an attached adjoining upstairs area. Unfortunately, we could hear every footstep of the person in the... More
