We stayed at The Slaughters County Inn in February 2015 with five other couples, three of which had dogs. The staff were all very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We had breakfast and evening meals and the food was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you want somewhere good... More

The Slaughters Country Inn is a charming hotel built in traditional Cotswold stone is nestled in the centre of what has to be my favourite village in the Cotswolds so far to date! Staying in the Cotton Hall room, a beautiful dual aspect spacious room with views of the pretty village including those from the large free standing roll top... More

This a lovely little inn situated in a delightful Cotswold village. Accomodation is unusual - we stayed in a split level cottage room with sitting area on ground floor and bedroom on first floor. Staff were very friendly aND food good and reasonably priced. A treat and we will go again.

Our deluxe room had velux windows with no views. There were eaves on both sides. The bed was two single beds together as a large double but very comfortable with quality bedding. The biscuits were in packets and the milk was in small cartons. For 5 star I expected fresh milk and homemade biscuits or fudge. There were two bottles... More

Nestling in the middle of the picturesque village of Lower Slaughter, the Slaughters Country Inn is a collection of pretty Cotswold stone buildings clustered tightly together. We had been booked in for one night in a superior room, on an inclusive deal which included welcome drinks and evening dinner with a glass of champagne. On arrival we were advised that... More

Visited for my partners birthday in February and stayed in one of the cottage rooms. Defiantly one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in, was really nice, quiet, private and cosy. Bathroom facilities were great and the bed was really comfy. The staff were friendly and were happy to help when I asked for glasses to take the room.... More

Arrived Friday afternoon for a one night stay - this is our third stay and once again had a lovely time. Check in was easy - a young man showed us to our room which I must say we were blown away with - it was fantastic with our own sitting room, hallway, two bedrooms and lovely big bathroom. As... If you like the scenery of the Cotswolds you will love the location of this hotel. It is straight off of a picture postcard. As a result it's very relaxing if the weather is good enough to go for walks (not a rambler so I have limits!). We ate there both nights as it was supposed to be a relaxing... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The village is beautiful and the hotel is perfectly placed to enjoy the Cotswolds. Our cottage was really comfortable, exceptionally clean and very spacious. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the restaurant staff attended our every need. The... More

Booked this via Secret Escapes as a surprise trip for my partner's birthday to the Cotswolds. Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and available throughout. Food was superb - we went for the Wed night fish and chip supper, which was very good. And all the food looked good. Cooked breakfast was of a good quality The restaurant was quite empty... More
