We have stayed here a few times over the past year or two. Since staying in a couple of different rooms we now always pre book the same room if it's available at time of booking as it's the quietest room and that is the most important factor when booking any hotel room in the world and if it's not... Looking at holding my wedding venue here and so glad I found out the management's attitude beforehand. Double standards and sarcasm. Asked if I could primarily book the reception room and was told they could only hold room with a deposit. So 2 days later went to pay deposit and was told by a member of staff that the room... More

Stayed a couple of nights. Rooms lovely although a tad warm. Communal areas nicely / quirkily decorated. Food excellent although needing to write out dinner orders is a pain and saves zero time for either diner or waiter. Try their Malbec if you have a steak - top notch.

We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time. We took advantage of their summer deal of £110 per person to include bed, breakfast and evening meal. We were upgraded free of charge to their best room which was amazing. All the food we ate was fantastic and wished I could have eaten more! Would recommend it... More

I booked a night here for my husbands birthday, and wasn't disappointed. We had a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. We sat on the verandah for afternoon drinks, and had a wonderful meal in the evening in the restaurant. The staff are friendly & immaculately dressed, you are able from the restaurant to watch the chefs @ work. We had... More

Managed to make a reservation at 3.30am having been locked out of my hotel room elsewhere! They sent a cab to pick me up and I was greeted by the night porter at 4.30am, needless to stay feeling a little weary following an earlier team meeting and several G&T's! The cosy bed was very welcoming as the sun came up...just... More

Stayed here for business trip and not sure what to expect. The drive down to the hotel is really lovely and check in was very personal. Staff very helpful. Stayed in a garden room which was very nice, air conditioning and facilities spot on. First night meal on my own was just right, service very good and meal a delight.... More

We stayed for three nights and had lovely time. Clean and comfortable. Very nice helpful staff. Food very good . Complementary soft drinks in mini bar in room, much appreciated as very hot over weekend. Busy weekend so quite noisy till late, lots going on. This was second visit and hopefully go again one day.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel with friends having attended a wedding close by and we were pleased with our rooms and the breakfast. The rooms were in the grounds and were spacious, clean and comfortable. The greeting when we arrived at 1am was cheerful even at that time of the morning and although we were not taken... More

Great hotel, modern decor in lovely old house with fabulous grounds. Our room was a "Garden Room", which was separate from the house well decorated a very large comfortable bed and lots of space, and a large bathroom. Air conditioning worked really well. WiFi signal was excellent. Very good breakfast, individually cooked. Quite expensive but well worth it, highly recommended.... More
