The restaurant inside the castle is a perfect place for a special celebration, a truly unique and elegant environment. The atmosphere is old fashion, distinctive and sophisticated. The menu is exquisite and the food is presented to perfection. If I have to choose only one word to describe this restaurant, that would be “unforgettable”.

We did not stay at the hotel ourselves, as we live nearby part of the time, but had friends visiting who stayed there, and thus we also got to see their room. This newly opened (08 I think) hotel alongside a highly regarded restaurant hit all the right buttons: easy car access and parking, but a simple 10 minute tram ride into the centre of this fascinating city; well-designed, minimalist rooms; and a good rate (CHF 180 on a Friday). And the restaurant, whilst not cheap, is indeed excellent.
