I stayed with my 12 year old son for 2 nights. We visited Stonehenge which is a short drive away, Longleat which is 30 mins away and went home via Bath about an hour away. There were pleanty of other sights and things to do in the area so could have stayed longer. The room were comfortable and had T&C... more

Having just turned up at The Pelican Inn, the restaurant was busy however a last minute cancellation meant they had a room spare. It was very comfortable, clean and all amenities present. Dinner was lovely, breakfast equally good and the owners, Hayley and Vince were so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone as great value for money... more

We stayed here for two nights, lovely setting minus the busy road. Fridge was a bit noisy so just turned it off. The bed was not good. We had to put pillows under the mattress to even it out. Wasn't very impressed with the food but lovely feel about the place. more

The pub and staff were lovely, but the room left a lot to be desired. It didn't appear to have been cleaned as it was very dusty and had rubbish on the floor and under the bed. In addition, the fridge was out of order and steam leaked from the handle of the kettle when it was poured. Furthermore, the... more

We stayed at the Pelican for only one night, but have to say the accommodation was clean, tidy and spacious, the bar meals (which were buy one, get one free), were absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. The garden was lovely, and an added bonus of a bouncy castle for the kids! Would recommend the Pelican not... more
