“Great location, shabby place but being upgraded?”

These apartments are in a great location, with all front apartments having stunning views across the ocean. The apartment we stayed in (two adults and two kids) could have done with a good spring clean and a revamp - greasy fingerprints on doors, dust around windowsills, grotty bedspreads, poor assortment of mismatching crockery and cutlery. “Nice unit, shame about the place...”

We took our 2 kids here for the weekend and were not impressed. The lady at the desk asked my daughter what she was looking forward to, which my daughter replied "The heated swimming pool" - little did we know, nor were we told then, the pool was freezing! The spa was heated but looked like it hadnt been cleaned... More

We are a couple in our fifties and booked 3 nights stay at Diamond Beach Resort at Northern Rivers district NSW. Cabarita Beach. On arrival the hotel had scaffolding covering the front of the hotel which is 3 or 4 stories high, and builders junk along front (only access) to unit entries and office entry.
