We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon to Sicily, and of everywhere we stayed this place was my favorite. You're on the foothills of Etna, Taormina is 30mins up the road, and from the hotel you have great views down to the sea. Except, it didn't really feel like a hotel, more like the perfect combination of staying... More

I made an error re. the dates when booking this hotel. I accidentally booked it for June whereas we were traveling in July. The hotel called me on the day where they thought we would show up which of course caused a bit of confusion on my part. However they have handled this mixup of dates on my part in... More

A very nice weekend spent at the agriturismo.. All family enjoyed it and will be back soon. Place is quiet, clean with lots of outdoor space for children to enjoy. Nice dining room with great fine food served. Breakfast is also good, a little basic but ok. Enjoyed breakfast in the sun by the pool.

A great little hideaway with a welcoming family feel! Matteo and team do an outstanding job of making each guest feel special and comfortable. Always around to answer questions, help with luggage and serve up a delicious (and nutritious) meal, Matteo and David and team are there with a smile! Book a trip to Etna with either of a local... After getting tired of busy atmosphere in Taormina in July, we decided to move somewhere quiet and peaceful. The owner family took care of us very well and we had great time there. Although some parts of the estate were under development, it was quiet and peaceful. Our 5 years old son also enjoyed its swimming pool and a tour... More

I agree with Peter M. regarding the produce and the garden. We especially enjoyed the view but the place still has some more unused potential e.g. using the garden more. We were visiting in April and it was still a bit fresh up on this side of the mountain. Lots of restaurants in the area were not opened for the... More

We had 5 nights at La Foresta - and after a little difficulty finding the place, we were delighted with what was on offer. The location of the Agriturismo is stunning on the hillside with a view across to the sea on one side and surrounded on the other sides by lush greenery(being on the lower slopes of Mt Etna).... Let's start with the good points: very nice and gently people, fantastic (but rather cold) swimming pool (less ideal for little children), tasty breakfast (but why agriturismo is not offering freshly squeezed orange juices with all citrus around?), beautiful environment (green hills), relaxed atmosphere... However, some points could be better: maintenance could be a bit better (some weeding e.g.), the... More

Silence, the woods, birds tweeting, relaxing at the large pool, walking in the woods, beautiful views, all this is here for who is looking for a break from routine and stress. A very nice family who pamper you, chat with you and share their ideas about Sicily as they are not from Sicily themselves but love the island. Rooms simple... More

Tweeting of the birds, the woods behind you, a large pool to relax in, walks through the woods. If you want to spend a quiet weekend this is the place. Very nice family running it. Pleasant breakfast. Rooms fairly basic but comfortable. Recommend it.
