This was our last night on our road trip and we had to leave first thing in the morning to head to Bilbao and catch a ferry home. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful with his suggestions of how best to use what little time we had in the town. We were leaving at 5am and he... More

Pepa and me are a young spanish couple that stayed in the hotel on a lovely weekend previously to christmas. Just the town's beauty is worth it to make the distance by car and the hotel and its services are in line with the perfection of the place. but not only the quality of the posada is rated high, the... You wouldn't guess how nice an hotel this is by standing in front of it. Surprising interior, very nice rooms, food, everything. The staff was very helpful and the village is beautiful with an impressive castle towering over it. Do climb the tower for a magnificent view of the fortifications and the countryside.

An unspoilt region. An ancient, earthy town off the beaten track. This Posada is right in the centre, although the place is very quiet. The owner was most amenable, and the lounge area was very comfortable, with seating and very interesting books to browse through. The room was comfy and characterful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Don't expect any nightlife... More

We enjoyed our short stay in Uncastillo, visiting during the local fiestas. Posada la Pastora was idelly situated right in the centre, easily accessible by car to drop off luggage before moving to a large parking place nearby. Walked around the town the rest of the time -- narrow pedestrian-only streets, old castle etc. Hotel was very comfortable and welcoming... More

Fabulous place, beautifully clean & comfortable. Host is welcoming, helpful & informative. For anyone who enjoys history, this is the place. Also saw some birds of prey nearby which was impressive. Breakfast was excellent - fresh & plentiful.

Apart from History spots (churches, castles Jewish quarter, roman remains, etc) we are very fond on birdwatching. There is a huge variety of habitats in a short distance. Thank you and see you soon, Inma y Miguel More

This is the ONE lovely place in Aragon one feels immediately home and comfortable. The hosts Inma and Miguel are super friendly and provide valuable help and information to discover the area. Loved the country and our hosts. The inn is lovely. Uncastillo was beautiful and a walk back in time. Went back for New Years after we stayed once. Absolutely magical and an honor to be at their special table for the celebration.

We had a lovely stay and were welcomed by Miguel with his excellent English. He gave super information about the local area and we loved Uncastillo. The room was lovely, a very comfortable bed! There was a little noise from guests walking up the stairs upon their return from their evening out. Breakfast was good with fabulous orange juice.

We stayed here just one night whilst passing through but it was an excellent choice. I see most of the reviews of Pasada La Pastora are 5 star, which is why we chose to stay there and they are deservedly so. Miguel is an informative host and no effort is spared to make you welcome. He is a mine of... More
