We had a spacious room on the end of the block so from our terrace we had a lovely vista through nearly 180 degrees. The wine tour and tasting was interesting and well done. The menu for dinner didn't appeal to us so we decided to have a picnic on our terrace (with a discounted bottle bought after the tour)... More

Another great stay at this gem of a hotel! based in the vinyard it has a setting to die for! Only 1 1/2 hours from Bilbao airport this was our second stay. The rooms are beautiful though didnt spend much time in their! The trip around the vinyard on Segways was sooo funny but great! Definately worth it! The tour... More

Stayed for one night end of September, the room was spacious, shower was amazing, huge balcony with breathtaking views of the vineyards and surrounding villages. The views alone made it worth the visit. We had a tour of the winery + tasting which was very interesting to hear about the history of the family and the business. Hotels guests receive... More

Hotel location is good, the staff friendly, the wine tour basic with little information about the growing or production process. BUT THE FOOD? Dinner has to be booked by a certain time with a set 5 course set menu but no menu available to view. We booked dinner as we had been travelling. My wife does not eat fish and... More

Like other reviewers say this is a great hotel and we were also told the restaurant was full. However on chatting with the receptionist about eating options she arranged for another hotel in LaGuardia (The Marixa) to pick us up. The restaurant was great and I will post a review for those interested. We were impressed with the help the... More

Pretty place on the surface. Nice rooms, but the dining staff sucks - I mean really sucks. They never have an opening for dinner & they won't even sell you cheese or olives to compliment our wine. If you stay here, bring your own dinner or get a reservation weeks in advance. Great hotel, really $hitty service when it comes... More

I had high hopes for this hotel and was not disappointed. I booked a suite at the top of the hotel which included a balcony with breathtaking views of the region. The room was modern and luxurious and spotlessly clean. I was aware that the town was not really within walking distance as I had corresponded with the hotel and... More

This hotel is stylish and located very dramatically on a hill within sight of Laguardia. The lift ride to our room could have come straight from a James Bond movie. However, it is a little too far from Laguardia to walk, so we were very disappointed to be told the restaurant was fully booked for both nights of our visit... More

I had great hopes for this hotel. The pictures looked great and so were the reviews - it all seemed so promising. Indeed the hotel, breakfast and winery trip did not disappoint. But to arrive at a hotel that stands on its own and is not in walking distance of anywhere else - specially when you are in a wine... More

We wanted to stay at a rioja bodega, and this ticked all of the boxes. It has been thoughtfully designed and built – the front of the lodge near the road has the tasting area and hotel reception, and all of the rooms face out over the vineyards with fabulous views. We went for a suite on the top floor... More
