We stayed in The Old Post House with a group of friends and had the most amazing time, could not fault the hospitality of the owners. Look forward to a return visit soon and seeing more of the beautiful area and countryside after a wonderful breakfast.

We've been to this former posting house before and have been wowed once more with this wonderful BnB. Everything in a springtime bloom in the surrounding countryside and a somewhat windy trip to stonehenge. A lovely easy place to rest awhile and be looked after.

Just spent a weekend at The Old Post House in Great Wishford. Received a very warm welcome from Barry (Paulene was away). He looked after us very well - fantastic breakfasts (especially the poached eggs!). The room was comfy and clean with a fantastic shower. Great location with a lovely local pub which serves very good food. Enjoyed our stay... More

A friend from New York visited me this April staying with my family a couple of days. He had never been to the UK before, so he asked me if I could take him to places like Canterbury, London and Stonehenge. As I thought it to be convient spending a day or two in Wiltshire to show him around the... More

We spent a really lovely night here last night, warm welcome and comfortable room! Pauline greeted us on arrival and explained without prompting anything we needed to know, then showed us to our comfortable room, asking our preferred time for breakfast! We had en suite facilities television and a good choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast was excellent, as... More

A friendly Bed and Breakfast. I had a very comfortable room and a good breakfast. Close to Stonehenge and lots to see in the area. It was also right next to the Church where I was attending a wedding.

We really enjoyed our one night at this B&B. It was minutes off the A303, but when you were in the village you felt that you were in the country. Also a very handy distance form Heathrow! The best of both worlds! The B&B was comfortable, quiet, and spotless and thoughtfully decorated. The ensuite shower room was tiny but adequate... More

We stayed in the family room which was a nice size and very clean. Small en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee in room which we made use of on arrival by making ourselves a hot drink after travelling. Breakfast was nice.

We (a couple and our 2.5 year old daughter) stayed overnight on 25 September 2014 on our way to a weekend stay in Devon. It was a chance find as it was recommended to us by another fully booked b&b owner who vouched for its quality. Everything delighted us about our stay here. From the moment we arrived Barry proved...
