Property entered through security gates and easy to operate with supplied codes. House is bright, fresh and very spacious inside and bedroom had lots of 'extras' which we were not expecting. Owners were very welcoming and breakfast was excellent (8 -10am). Spent most of one morning there before leaving for afternoon wedding. Large bedroom was easy to heat or cool,... More

Stayed for 2 nights to visit Rosslyn chapel . Very friendly couple Margaret and Ian. House and room very clean and modern. Secure parking. Breakfast portions very generous size, cooked and cold options. Not fazed by vegetarians. Quiet location. A very good Italian called Little Italy recommended locally which was excellent. Would stay again.

Although only there for a couple of days we couldn't have hoped for better accommodation, service and most of all, people! We had a wonderful stay at Glenferndale and would recommend it to anyone. So helpful and kind, Ian and Maggie were the perfect hosts! :-)

Lovely comments, thanks. As always it is much appreciate when guests enjoy our place and take the time to say so. Hope it made up in some small way for the strange wedding invitation :-) More

Thanks so much for your wonderful review, we thought maybe you had stayed somewhere else :-) only kidding. Took us a little while to realise whom it was from due to the fact Edinburgh is famous for the Tatoo of the military variety but aloha to you both and hopefully you will stay with us again Ian and Margaret More

Had a 5 night stay whilst in the area to watch the British Open golf as well as some sightseeing. Ian and Margaret were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The cooked breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices of cereals and fruit as well, which really set us up for the day. Our bedroom was... More

Great place to stay. A warm welcome to a beautiful house. Comfy bed and very kindly ensured I had no feathers in the room (which I am allergic to). Lovely brekkie, with lots of variety. I'll definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for one night on a nationwide 900 mile bike ride. From the moment we arrived we felt really welcome. Our hosts could not have made our stay any better and we had a fantastic breakfast to set us off in the morning.

Bed & Breakfasts don't get much better than this. Lovely room, great welcome, comfy beds and our room has a jacuzzi. What more could you ask for. Full English to set you up for the day? You get a great feed too.
