I stayed here last week on business for one night. The host was lovely very warm and friendly. I arrived in the evening and unfortunately had to go again early the next day. I had a ground floor room in the stable, the room was really nice and big and was so well equipped it was wasted on me for... More

We stayed just one night at Bardon Mill Coach House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the upper Hayloft room. The room was very spacious and tastefully and authentically decorated. It was comfortable and spotless. Carole was a fantastic host, providing us with a great breakfast to start the day. Bardon Mill makes a great base to see... More

The Coach House is a superb B&B, especially as you have your own comfortable en-suite accomadation in the converted stable in the garden. The breakfasts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail by Carole made our stay lovely. Thoroughly recommende by 2 seasoned travellers!

We stayed one night hoping for some rest and relaxation and were not disappointed. Very peaceful location. We stayed in the Hayloft (upper room), which was immaculate and very well equipped, obvioulsy a lot of thought and consideration has gone into providing anything you might require. Breakfast was delicious and the welcome from Carole was very warm and friendly. Surrounding... More

We stayed just for one night in October 2011. We were very impressed by the B&B. We stayed in the ground floor, which was very spacious, very clean and well presented and felt very private. Carole also cooks a superb breakfast. We wanted to look around Hadrians wall, but didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted, so we... More

We stayed here for just one night, but were really delighted with the room and service. We ended up staying in a family room - the hayloft. very clean, good tea tray, eco-friendly products and our own entrance to the room so we didnt disturb people by coming in late after dinner. It was a bit of a shame that... More

We enjoyed a very comfortable two-day break at The Coach House. Carole and Fred are excellent hosts and the veggie breakfasts are just great. I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere before with such attention paid to 'the small details'. We love this area of Northumberland and hope to return before too long.

Stayed at the coach house whilst up in Durham for a wedding at Langley castle. The hayloft is a gorgeous light, airy, welcoming room. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. I would definately recommend, excellent location for Langley castle, just a 5-10min taxi ride away (<£10 pre midnight, £15 afterwards).

We chose this B&B for its proximity to Hadrians wall, and especially after reading the other enthusiastic reviews about this place. They were certainly right. We received a lovely warm wecome from Carole who gave us a tour of both of the rooms seeing as they were both free this weekend. We chose the hayloft which was light, airy, spacious... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in the Stable. This is the disabled room, it is very roomy, with all the necessary facilities. We are both able bodied and can only assume for any disabled person it would be great. Carole and Fred are both so friendly and their hospitality is second to none. The breakfast was a superb start to the... More
