We were there as a family for the New Year's eve dinner. The food was exquisite, 6 dishes but all very light and artistically presented. The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines which complemented the food and the food itself. The talented Chef made a point to visit each table at the end of the meal, this is always... More

Stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 nights with my partner for a wedding nearby. Has great parking, staff are lovely. We were on the second floor in a lovely quaint french bedroom with large wooden beams. While we were there it was particularly hot, so we were lucky to have air con. I did hear that some other guests... More

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location with friendly helpful staff. We went as a party of 12 for my cousins wedding in Urval. As many reviewers seem to have done. This would get a five star rating but for a few glaring omissions from a modern hotel experience. No fridges in the room, no coffee or tea making facilities,... More

Fantastic service by friendly personnel. Excellent restaurant (9,7/10) Good location for exploring the Dordogne area (car is a requirement). The interior is somewhat dated, although rooms have been partly decorated (bathroom tiles, fresh paint and new, colourfull furniture). Pool area could do with some refurbishing, but still ok to use as it is. No air conditioning in the rooms is... More

We stayed here to attend our friends son's wedding in Urval. Rooms were spacious and clean. Located in a charming quaint village. Elodie the manager and her staff were very helpful and accommodating. Their restaurant is definitely a must. Service & food were excellent. Can definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel to attend our son's wedding in nearby Urval. It was very centrally located for all wedding events. Charming hotel with modern décor, excellent food and very reasonable in price, very friendly and willing staff, lovely pool and grounds with plenty of chairs to enjoy the outside. Hotel was very quiet, easy to find in a... More

This is a perfectly functional hotel for a break in the heart of France. We stayed in a superior room and our accommodation included an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and separate toilet. The double bed dominated the room and we enjoyed the view over the walled garden and swimming pool. Sadly there was no air conditioning - while... More

We were one of two couples here for a weekend. Lovely surroundings. Well maintained. Fabian was fabulous! Breakfast not included. Bed comfy and nice big tv. Pool is a bonus. Nice grounds if the weather is nice

We stayed as a group whilst attending a wedding in a nearby Chateau. Check in was easy. Rooms were clean and fresh. We had booked some superior rooms and standard rooms. Not much difference except for the decor. Rooms overlooking the pool were brighter and more private. Pool was lovely and open until 10pm and is covered over which was... More

We had a lovely time at this hotel - the manager was very nice and really looked after us, our room was very comfortable and it was lovely place to relax by the pool. Set in a stunning village I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was very good - fresh produce every day.
