We arrived in Barna late afternoon from Galway, it was a short easy drive and we found the location so easily. We were excited to find we were within walking distance for everything. Bernadette was so open and friendly how could we not fall in love with her. The rooms were perfect, spacious and convenient!!! So clean and the breakfast,... More

We had such a pleasant stay at the Abbeyville B&B. It was the only time in 3 weeks that we had a king size bed. Our room was so beautiful and the art work around the house was done by the owner, so that made it even more special. We were referred to a nearby laundry to get some clothes... More

This was our first B&B of our Ireland trip. Loved the location in the quaint village of Brana (just a short drive from Salthill). Had this image in my mind of what a B&B, but Abbeyville didn't quite turn out to match image. No problem. It may not have loads of charm as it's a fairly plain house but it... More

This was my favorite b&b of our trip, and the proprietors made it so. We did meet Bernadette, but her son Evan was our host. He took time to chat with us cooked an excellent breakfast. He made suggestions on which road to take to Cong, so we had a more scenic route than we had planned and also got... More

Lovely stay, we stayed 2 nights Bernadette was a great host. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast great. Bonus that you could walk to the restaurant in the evening. We would certainly visit again! Angela ,Mike, Zofia & Roy.

I stayed at this B&B along with several other members of my family as we had to attend a family funeral. During this difficult time, Bernadette went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. My room was lovely and very warm. Bendatte catered for all our individual... More

A real find! The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, plenty of towels, tea and coffee making facilities and room to spread out. The breakfast was great with wonderful fresh fruit and eggs to order. In fact Bernadette would provide any breakfast request. The location was only a short distance from a quaint local pub with excellent food. Bernadette was... More

We stayed in the Abbeyville B&B for 4 evenings. We used this location as a base for touring the Cliffs of Mohr, Connemera, Galway, and the Aran Islands. Bernadette was a wonderful hostess who had practical and good ideas for sightseeing and routes. Her cooking is very good. Some of the best scrambled eggs and salmon in Ireland and of... More

Stayed two nights. Booked at very short notice. Bernadette couldn't have been more accommodating. Lovely clean rooms. Very close to The Twelve, Donnelly's and most importantly O'Gradys restaurant. €15 euro taxi from spanish arch. Delicious fry up in the morning and great service. Excellent value. I would definitely stay again.
