I booked this hotel for 2 nights and unfortunately read some negative reviews 'after' booking so was concerned. However was very pleasantly surprised on arrival. The staff were more than helpful and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and warm (we went in March). They have a secure underground carpark available for a small charge of 5 euros per... More

We booked to stay in the apartment part of this complex in 2008. On arrival our weeks money was taken from us and we were sent to our room. When we arrived, we were horrified. The room was in a terrible state with a massive wet stain on the carpet, unwashed dishes in the sink and there was no bed... More

We had a great time staying in this hotel 4 years ago. All is good until you get out of it: solicitors, vandalized cars, junkies... But if you ignore all this and the distance to the railway station (1-2 km), all will be perfect! Aw! and I forgot staff! Poor, baby, poor!

My friend and I stayed in Hotel Balladins some time ago, Dec 2007, but I felt the need to review it due to our experience there. At the time I had never heard of TripAdvisor and hence we used another website to book this 'Hotel'. It said that it wasn't too far from the train station and also that it... More

Objective review: Poor directions to get there: dear hotel, please take 5 minutes to let people know on your website how to find your hotel. You have more than one subway system in your area- please let people know which line to use and what stops to use! Let's see, maybe I can help being from another continent and not... More

While the website lists wifi internet as available, it does not specify that it charges 10 euros per day to access it and it is misleading that it is not included in the "exclusions" section. The website states hotel is five minutes from paris, in fact, it is 35 minutes via train (RER C) and a 15 minute walk from... More

The room was clean but old, with mould around the shower and paint off the walls at the bottom. The shower had no hook so you had to hold the head (this was the same in the room next door). The beds were foam and VERY firm. The room was very humid and the street noise made it impossible to... More

If anyone prefers a pleasant stay at the hotel should omit this one definately. The windows won't close, so it might be cold at night. The rooms, douvets and bathroom inside are neat, but the walls are very thin, so you will hear everything and everyone - especially loud families with kids, no matter if that is the middle of... Getting to the Balladins on our first night proved to be difficult. We had planned on getting the RER, but with hindsight, I recognise that it was an overly ambitious idea, as at first, public transport seems very complicated. We finally arrived at the hotel (by taxi, 25euro from the centre of Paris) at midnight, so the 24 hour reception... More
