We stayed one night here in September having chosen it for its historic Le Mans past and because it is roughly half way to Angouleme. At first sight it was as we expected for a logis in the middle of town except that all the (deluxe) rooms are named after racing drivers and there are many photographs in the bar.... More

Went on a short break in France and stayed here on our last two nights on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed as it really was a great place to stay. It was comfortable, clean and we had a very good room. We ate in the hotel's restaurant both nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff... More

We stayed at this hotel seven years ago when it was extremely dated and tired. The refurbishment of the new owners Sally and Paul, are wonderful. Whilst keeping the French theme and the motor sport theme, they have created a warm and welcoming hotel. We stayed for one night last weekend on our way home from holiday as it is... More

What a great find, I picked this hotel as I'd read an article in a UK Classic Car mag and thought it would be quite interesting to try it. Weren't we the lucky ones, great hotel at a very sensible price. My French is abysmal, so the folks here were great. Lovely evening meal and wine (about 20 euros each),... More

As previous reviewers have said this hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Our room (a superior room) was large, sympathetically re-decorated to fit the style and history of the hotel, had plenty of storage, comfy beds and spotlessly clean. The hotel is in the center of the town on the edge of the square; great for people... More

We were travelling back from Spain and needed an overnight stop. What a great place to find. If you have ever wanted to stay in a little French village this is the place. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It is full of motor history from Le Mans. You do not have to be a car... More

Our party of 8 greatly enjoyed our stay in this quaint hotel in a lovely French village - exactly what we were looking for. Both of our quad rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. On site restaurant was an unexpected treat - we enjoyed a lovely dinner and this meal ended up being the... More

This hotel is on the main market square and the rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. If you love cars then you will enjoy looking at all the memorabilia on the walls showing the historic car brands that have prepared for the Le Mans at the hotel and also in the market square. If the sun... More

This hotel has been recently renovated to an excellent standard, without any sacrifice of atmosphere. All rooms are named after racing drivers (its about an hour drive from Le Mans) and ours was large with a four poster bed, three armchairs, flat screen TV, pristine en-suite and two large window overlooking the small and attractive town square. There is a... More
