Used for an overnight stay and our room was disappointing - bed comfortable but decor very tired and needing an update plus it was obviously a smoking room - it smelt terrible. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was excellent.

We have stayed at this lovely traditional hotel for many years now. It always provides a very reliable stopover at the start of our holiday. The rooms are comfortable and the food is very good. The area is interesting and worth exploring if you have the time.
