I stayed as part of a cycling tour along the Canal du Midi. It is very rustic and looks like a converted barn. We had dinner there in addition to accomodation. The room decor was slightly tired. But a minor thing. The food was amazing. Not fancy just very very good and home made. The host was very french. Shrugs... More

We stopped over here on our cycle trip along the canal. The auberge is unpretentious; a simple friendly place to stay. We had a room which was quite basic but had a very good refurbished ensuite with an excellent shower. We chose to have our evening meal here and did not regret it as the cooking was excellent. The only... More

We turned up after a long day of cycling to be told that our room had been overbooked and other accommodation had been arranged close by. The alternative accommodation was in a small room, overlooking a road with quite a lot of traffic noise. Another couple there also had been 'relocated' for a similar reason.

We loved our room, with balcony. Dinner was very nice and our host was very generous in letting us choose items from the expensive menu, for a budget menu price. The host himself is quite a character.

We stayed here for a night on our way to the Pays Cathares. The dinner was very good, especially the creme brulee that followed an excellent vegetable puff pastry. The rooms, however, were strictly average. Our room had a balcony that overlooked a compound that smelled of garbage in the morning, while we hardly got sleep at night due to... More

Stayed here as part of a cycle trip along Canal du Midi - sadly a very low point.things have clearly gone downhill in the last few months.......previous reviews were good. No air cond. No wifi. Noisy room. Budget breakfast. Dirty dusty room. Dinner was fine. Cycling 50 km per day you really look forward to your hotel.....this was the low... More

We were cycling along the Canal du Midi and stayed here for one night. The owner, Francois greeted us and our room was a lovely traditional french room. It was rustic with a modern tweak in the bathroom. There was a mezzanine level up to the high ceiling with an old ladder as access but we never looked up there!.... More

This hotel had a moldy shower, ripped and dirty carpet, and foot-high weeds growing at the front entry; how could others rate this place so highly? I've submitted pictures, which (when posted) will show these things. Our room had absolutely NO wifi and no air conditioning. So, we had to sit in a very hot stairway landing area to use... More

We were booked in here as part of a biking trip down the Canal du Midi. It would as almost rate as rustic, but professionally casual would probably describe it better, the food was excellent as other reviewers have noted, and being right beside the canal made the outdoor dining area very special indeed. When we got the bill in... More

We enjoyed a perfect night. Our two children slept in a bed in the lower floor connected yo our room. We even could make a wine tasting. It would have been even better with a longer bed. The children loved playing with the dog.
