Large old terraced double-fronted building. Magnificent entrance hall and large bedrooms. We had an enthusiastic welcome. Their visitors book was full of complimentary comments. Then the disappointments began; the rooms were dimly lit and the large en suite even worse. Old soap in the shower. Cleanliness doubtful. The breakfast was unexciting.

We stayed in this delightful hotel for 1 night only in September 2015 and I wished it could have been at least 3 nights. Huge room overlooking the pool which was so refreshing after a long cycle ride and warm and friendly hosts and such a French atmosphere. We found it wonderful!

This is an unassuming B & B in Homps that is in a lovely old (and perhaps slightly faded) country house in the centre of Homps. Nina and Guy are fabulous hosts. Our room at the back overlooked the gardens and pool. Huge en-suite room with period furniture. Its not a Hilton but it is a good standard French hotel... More

Stayed for two nights - and have to say I really don't understand some of the previous reviews. If you want tumble dried towels and bottles of free toiletries stay at a chain style anonymous hotel. But for a beautiful authentically French style room - with wonderful balconies, a lovely view over a peaceful garden with a great refreshing pool... More

The garden and pool look appealing. Unfortunately we had a small room (Le Soleil) on the street side of the hotel, which suffers from traffic noise during the day and early morning. Sandpaper bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 soap container (to be moved from hand basin to shower and back) also did not make for a favourable impression.... More

We booked this hotel on line not through normal channels but email. Nina and Guy were always helpful. The rooms we got were pre war type, elegant old fashioned and HUGE. Gorgeous large bathrooms and quirky décor. Breakfast was in the French fashion and very generous in the large gardens. Guy offered and took our luggage to our boat on... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a cycling trip through this part of France. The Inn is in an ideal location for access to the canal and to decent restaurants within walking distance. The building itself is a very beautiful old building with lots of charm and it sits in a garden with a lot of... More

This accommodation was booked as part of a package for our cycling holiday. It is a grand house owned by Nina and Guy (charming and hospitable) in the centre of this village by the Canal du Midi. They have a large garage for bike storage. We had an enormous room at the top of the stairs overlooking the lovely garden... More

We received a pleasant welcome and were shown to our lovely room overlooking the garden which could definitely benefit from a bit of 'tender, loving care'. What a shame (given that it is called Le Jardin), it wouldn't take much effort to cut the grass and plant a few more flowers. However the dogs were friendly and we had a... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday along the Canal du Midi. We were given a huge and delightful double bedroom with windows looking out onto the garden and swimming pool. We were given a warm and professional welcome and found the hotel attractive and interesting. Breakfast under the verandah made an enjoyable start to... More
