This hotel was fantastic. Although the location is a bit out of the way, it has its own superb restaurant which makes up for it. The staff are all lovely. We did a wine tasting in the cellar, which was fantastic! Well worth the money. The rooms are large and the bathrooms clean. There are also lovely toiletries in the... more

Overall, we very much enjoyed the Domaine de Beauvois. The bedrooms had somewhat dated furnishings, complete with matching curtains, wallpaper, AND lampshades, and a saggy mattress - the kind of thing you would expect if you were the house guest of an impoverished aristocrat and which somehow added to the charm of the place. We took dinner on the terrace... more

Booked on Venere.com After a lengthy but leafy drive through French fields and up and down a few hills, we found a delightful oasis. Not too far from the autoroute from Paris and then just a few minutes off the principal road linking several important Loire Valley Chateaux, we came up the Domaine de Beauvois. What a charming spot, with... more

I stumbled across this hotel when searching for an interesting hotel to stay at in the Loire. We had a lovely stay and if you want a French country house hotel experience I would most definitely recommend it, but it would not be to everyone's taste, even though the hotel is, in reality, very relaxed; really well located to visit... more

Thanks to (once again) tripadvisor, we decided to stay at this "relais du silence". The whole atmosphere was great. Beautiful park, lake and pool. The hotel itself is very confortable and very nicely decorated. Big room and bathroom (we could not believe it after our stay in saint germain du pres hotel in Paris), very neat and tastefully decorated. In spite... more

This Chateau is beautiful, clean & comfortable. The grounds are immaculate (tennis court, pool etc.). The staff is very professional & plesant. It is slightly off the beaten track which makes going out for a quick meal a bit difficult. We didn't go to the hotel restaurant, the menu was very pricey, but perhaps the food justified the price. Would... more

189EUR per night. I had an amazing room. According to their booking website it was a: "De Luxe room - Double bed > About 40 m2 with private bathroom, TV, Minibar. > Overlooking the Briffaut pond. - Double french bed > (queen or king size not possible) It turned out that the bed was plenty large enough for two people.... more

We recently stayed two nights at Domaine de Beauvois while touring the Loire Valley. Although it is a bit off the beaten chateau-track, we came to appreciate this after seeing how crowded Amboise, Bloise and Tours were on a beautiful spring weekend. Our room overlooked the the front entrance and was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was generously sized --... more

We stayed at this stylish small hotel in July for a week, and had an excellent time. Travelling with our son we had rooms 04/05 which are two connected rooms, each with their own bathroom, overlooking the terrace gardens. The rooms were comfortable and bathrooms decent, though not lavish. Very 'French'. The hotel has a large swimming pool which catches... more

Looks great from the outside, but inside theres so much to work on You are checked in, but you feel like a number; you ask for a drink at the bar at 6.30pm and it happens but its an effort; you dine in the restaurant and its so pretentious that all you want to do is escape; ...it just all... more
