We were very disappointed with our room. When we walked into our room it smelled quite musty, Carpets are very grubby and stained all bench tops were dusty. I expected the worst from some of the reviews but it was actually fine. Hubbie, our two boys and I stayed overnight while enjoying the hot beach weather on the Peninsula and it served its purpose. We chose the Peninsula Motor Inn because of it location close to the Tyabb Antique centre and other places we were going, Rack rate is very dear for what you get; an extremely dated room with basic amenities. On our recent trip to the Mornington Peninsula, we stayed in a twin room at the Peninsula Hotel. The motor inn is tucked away just off a main road, but the location itself is quiet and peaceful. Lovely motor inn, tucked away in a gorgeous little town.
