We stayed here after a delayed in bound flight to Haneda stranded us in Tokyo. Overall the hotel was clean, relatively quiet despite the renovation, the bed was reasonable comfortable and the location was convenient for the JR line.

I was very happy to see that the Tokyu Stay in Gotanda has been revamped and re-located. I had stayed in the their previous facility several times, and it was a pretty nice surprise to see that they had no only upgraded their rooms, but also their location. Although the best part about this hotel is its location (it's literally... More

I just stayed one night here on business but I was impressed with the room quality (I booked a double room) and size - definitely the largest I've stayed at in Tokyo. The room included all the amenities including a clothes washer and microwave. My first choice when I return to the area next!

I chose this hotel because my sister-in-law recommended it from her brief working stint in Tokyo. The fact that the apartment-hotel has a washer+dryer, kitchenette with a small pot, cutleries, a cutting board and a kitchen knife saved me and my family yens by doing our own laundry and making our own meals. 7-Eleven is next to the hotel, so... We stayed here for 8 days on our first trip to Tokyo. This has the perfect location as there are at least 3 train lines out the front door. We had a big room with king size bed and kitchenette. Free breakfast included the choice from 6 different sets. The room was very clean, the staff friendly.

I stayed here for two nights. Prior staying here, I had already stayed at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro and Toktu Stay Monzen-Nakacho. I prefer to stay at Tokyu Stay Gotanda than the previous two Tokyu Stay Hotel I had stayed. It was very easy to find compared with the Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro & Monzen-Nakacho, since it is located on the side... More

This was my 6th trip to Japan, and each time I have been fortunate enough to stay in some very nice places in and around Tokyo and Osaka. This time I used credit card miles and chose to stay at the Tokyo Stay Gotanda. I chose this hotel first and most importantly on its location to the area I wanted... More

Squeezed into a busy business district, the Tokyu Stay is a comfortable and quiet place to stay for the business traveller. The rooms are small but well appointed and very clean. There's dozens of restaurants within walking distance for a cheap evening meal. The only negative is the breakfast option supplied by the hotel is very limited.

We (2 people) stayed here for 3 nights. Location is literally minutes walk from JR Yamanote green line station. Adjacent to convenience store and subway entrance. Multiple eateries and shopping nearby. Entrance to hotel is amongst many store fronts so pay special attention on your first day when trying to find the hotel. Rooms are very clean. They have a... Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
