We (2 people) stayed here for 3 nights. Location is literally minutes walk from JR Yamanote green line station. Adjacent to convenience store and subway entrance. Multiple eateries and shopping nearby. Entrance to hotel is amongst many store fronts so pay special attention on your first day when trying to find the hotel. Rooms are very clean. They have a... Nice place to stay in Tokyo. The hotel is just a short walking distance to Gotanda station. Great in room facilities with a washing machine and a dryer. Stayed there about 1+ month end of 2013. Gotanda station is one of the station within Yamanote line, you can just take a train from Gotanda station to go to many great... More

It's a great and simple hotel, booked a single room for 4 nights and it was a great experience. The hotel is like 1 min from the JR Gotanda station, 7 mins to Shibuya Station and 14 mins to Shinjuku station, really convenient. The room is well-cleaned. It's quite small but fit well one person. The breakfast was good as... More

We had to be near the area for my Mother's medical procedure and it seemed like this was the only decent place to stay in in the immediate vicinity. The price was a bit steep but so was everything else in Japan so i could not really complain about that. It was a few minutes walk from Gotanda Station and... More

The room is really convenient for a long stay, both because of the room and the location. The room is equipped with a small kitchen with cutlery, a washing machine with dryer function, a microwave and a fridge, a bathroom with tub. It also has shoe-shine paper and a deodorizer for fabrics. Our room was a 1 double bed room... More

The hotel is located literally a few steps from the Gotanda station (exit A6), which is an excellent location regarding transportation to and from the airport and around Tokyo. The rooms are small as always in Japan, but clean and neat. The toilet looked really good compared to many other japanese hotels, and the bed was comfy and big. The... More

For Tokyo, the room size was excellent ($AUD145 p/n). Rooms are well appointed, with cooking area, washer/dryer and have small balconies. The living area is larger than most; typical bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable - better than most. The location is a short walk from Gotanda Station. Depending upon the length of stay, room servicing is variable, but not... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
