Sunroute Shinagawa Seaside is a very good location hotel except the room sizes are too small. Very well located above the Shinagawa Seaside Station which is on the Rinkai Line. The hotel is conveniently located near the Haneda Airport as well.

Hotel surroundings very quiet, not too many people, quite unlike the busy Shibuya or Shinjuku shopping districts. Hotel starts from the 16th floor of the building, huge lobby but no hotel restaurants, except one that opens only for the free buffet breakfast, which by the way was pretty good. There are a few restaurants on the ground though, and the... More

I booked this hotel through a booking site with a 30% discount. The room I had was the Queen Ocean view. It was very spacious, plenty of room to walk around the bed, including a lounge chair, a massage chair and large bathroom. The room was very clean with modern decor and the bed was very comfortable. The window was... More

I actually stayed in this hotel during 2 parts of my holiday. I find the hotel quite accessible being so close to Shinagawa-Seaside Stn (Rinkai line), although I got lost on the way there from Haneda International Airport - the problem is the Tennozu Isle Stn - the Monorail & the Rinkai Line are so far away and there are... Stayed here for 1 week on business and won't be back again. Hotel was clean and tidy - but most things are in Japan. The room was the smallest I've ever been in and I've traveled to Japan for business 6 previous times. This is small even by my Japanese coworker standards. (They were there with me and agreed) spend... More

We stayed here in August 2015, the staff spoke excellent English, the room was quite large for Japan. Perfectly located for transport with the train station basically under the building, 10 minute train ride to Tokyo. Massive shopping complex right next door with some good restaurants. Fantastic views of Tokyo at night. Will come back again.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was easy to find from the Shinagawa Seaside Station (there is a sign on the wall giving directions as you come through the ticket gates). The reception is on the 16th floor of the East Tower and the rooms are above that. We were on the 19th floor and the view at... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in early July. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little out of the way but still well connected to the rest of tokyo via the Rinkai line. There's not a lot to do around the the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and even... More

First of all, I always rate my hotel reviews based on the supposed number of stars the hotel has and the price. So a four-out-of-five rating for this hotel doesn't mean it's almost as good as the Ritz - it's that it has performed above my expectations of a USD80 a night hotel. Room: 20 square metres is normal by... More

This hotel is high up in a tall building. Its personnel is friendly and helpful, and the service is good. The breakfast is quite good with a choice of international or Japanese food. The hotel is situated very close to a subway station, so you can travel easily in the city.

Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
