Free shuttle bus to and from the hotel to Haneda Internat'l, and vice versa. Warning: you must go to one of the domestic terminals to catch the shuttle bus. Stand at Post #16, Free Shuttle, to wait for the white hotel bus (arthotelsomori.com). Bus comes every 40-30 min., depending on traffic. We couldn't get much help from staff in the... More

A convenient place to stay if travelling to/from Haneda airport. The hotel operates a shuttle which starts at 04:20 in the morning and takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the airport. A taxi to the airport will cost you ~3000 yen. If you are taking a ferry to the islands, the port is a similar distance andit will cost... More

Pro's: - 6 minute walk from Omori Station, which is 6 minutes away (by train) to Shinagawa (two stops) where you can connect to the Narita Express, numerous Shinkansens, and the Yamanote Loop line around Tokyo. - Tokyu department store at train station with restaurants and a well stocked supermarket in the basement (bento, sushi, sashim, etc) - Lawson convenience store... The room is okay, the beds are not that comfortable but the bathroom is spacious. Hotel location is kind of far from malls. Convenience store is across the hotel. Hotel front desk staff does not understand english.

We stayed here in April 2014. We booked one night before our departure due to it's shuttle service to Haneda airport. We booked a triple room for 3 adults and 3 children. The photos of the beds are deceiving as they appear to be doubles, but are marginally larger singles. The room was small for our requirements and luggage had... More

We spent two and a half weeks in Japan staying at approximately eight hotels with Bird Quest. The hotels were all quite nice with the exception of this hotel. We arrived at this hotel on a Saturday afternoon. We were promptly notified that the hotel was over booked. We waited for more than a half hour while they decided whether... More

We booked the hotel because it has an airport shuttle and was reasonably priced. The shuttle driver was on time and pointed out places of interest on the way to the hotel. Be aware that if you come from the international arrival area that there is not a sign to the hotel shuttle but a sign that says group shuttle.... More

stayed one night before heading to airport the next morning. we are a family of 5 so booked 1 room for 2 and 1 room for 3 which worked perfectly as rooms are small in comparison to Australia and like most places they don't cater for family of 5. location was fantastic and easy to get to from hakuba where... We stayed here one night after a flight from Toronto. While there is a free shuttle from Hanada airport, it wasn't running at the time we arrived so we grabbed a cab (35$ Can). The neighbourhood was quiet on the weekend and we enjoyed a nice walk along the park/trail close to the hotel near the train. It is very... More

We booked for 2nights and it was pleasant. The staff is warm and friendly. Our room rate include daily breakfast and it was the usual Japanese fare which is a pleasant surprise from the American or Continental which we are so accustomed to. We enjoyed the nearby surrounding 5-10mins walk to Omori station and lots of eateries and shopping mall.... More

Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
