A very well priced and comfortable hotel located in the heart of Omori. Situated around the corner from Omori Kaigan station and just a few minutes walk to Omori station makes it very convenient as a base for travelling and for shopping. Haneda airport is just a stone's throw away as well. The hotel staff were polite and obliging and... More

Stayed here on the final night of our trip (as it was close to Haneda airport and we had an early flight). The place was older but actually had larger rooms than the other hotels we stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful in facilitating our early departure and travel to the airport. Very close to the Keikyu station.... More

Another of the reviewers clearly states the Omorikaigan stop for the Keikyu line, but for some reason I got off on the Omorimachi stop the first time I tried to find the hotel. Do not confuse them! OmoriKAIGAN. The red lit up sign is in katakana as well, the entrance has some Roman characters, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel... More

Rooms are VERY VERY tiny. But cheap. Rooms are VERY VERY tiny. But close to airport. Rooms are VERY VERY tiny. But service is excellent. I think you get the idea. :) Note: About 3000yen taxi charge to HND if you need to be at the airport for an early morning flight before the trains are running (as we did).

*Note to Tripadvisor: The name of the Hotel is Sunroute not Sanroute" I stayed here from Dec 1-7, 2010 for $70 Canadian per night. It is not hard to find. Here are two options of getting there. Take either an airport bus or airport train to Shinagawa station. You may either take the Keikyu Line to Omorikaigan Station and walk... More

Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
