The hotel is not really in the center of Tokyo; the decoration is a bit dated, the rooms are smalls and should be renovated. The service is very basic. This place is convenient for business trip but would definitively not let you enjoy the pleasure of staying in Tokyo

We moved from another hotel to this one in Tokyo because the other one was way too small. This hotel had a nice location in terms of sea port view and club and the room size was huge for Tokyo. The other positives were restaurants and convenience shops on location. Despite all this it seemed to be a lonely place.... More

We took the Executive Suite as we had 2 kids and it was the same cost as 2 separate rooms anyway. Room was large by Tokyo standards and we were on the 25th floor so we had a good view of the bay and Odaiba. Not much to fault except maybe the bathroom could have included a magnifying mirror. Room... More

The hotel is close to Haneda Airport. It is easily acess to Odaiba and Disney land but not the best choice if u want to visit the centre of Tokyo (you have to change the train). The view from the hotel was nice, expecially in the midnight. Breakfast in hotel was okay, not very much variety and quite expensive. There... More

Stayed here about a month ago. It was the first of 7 hotels we stayed at during out 2 week Japan trip. It's good value for one night and also clean and comfortable. Not the best hotel we stayed at but certainly adequate after a 14 hr flight from NY! It is a bit far from Tokyo Station. It was... More

We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is very nice and the room was comfortable enough for 3 people. There were good ammenities in the room, including a refreshingly scented shower gel. There was an absolutely wonderful view of Tokyo Bay, nearby buildings, trains, boats, people - can be facinating to just watch everything going on outside from inside our... More

Close to Shinagawa Station by 15 minute walk or 5 minute $7.00 Cab fare. Pleasant English speaking Staff, clean and good sized room for Japanese standards with Nice harbor View! Subway takes you to Yamanote Line to Shibuya, Ebisu etc. so it's distant from the nightlife. But a very pleasant stay!

Good access via monorail from Haneda. Big room, plenty of toiletries etc and very comfortable bed. The hotel arranged for our luggage to go on to our final destination (although this door-to-door delivery is a ubiquitous and cheap service in Japan, but even so, we were not sure if the hotel would do it themselves). Friendly, efficient service. Nice to... More

Was on a business trip to Tokyo, this hotel is one stop away from my office, so location wise, it is okay not ideal but you can get to Hamamatsucho station which is one stop away, where you can hop on to the yamanote line to go more interesting places, like Akihabara, Ginza, etc. Actually, I like this hotel location... We recently stayed 4 nights, check in was quick. Although breakfast was not included,we were given discount vouchers for breakfast - which, had a good variety to choose from. The room was quite small, but clean. People in the reception answered our questions satisfactorily, politely in English. Location is beautiful, far from the hustle & bustle of Tokyo, but main places to see is conveniently... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
