We stayed here for 4 nights and good points include the free shuttle from Shinagawa station. The room was clean and had the amenities required for a short stay. The location is in the business district but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. There is an Aeon mall about 29 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was good enough. There... More

This is a pretty basic hotel, we chose it because it was close to several locations we were visiting on our last days in tokyo, because it had parking, and because it was inexpensive. The room itself is clean, of course, but small. The bedding is the hardest we experienced in Japan, which is saying something...but by this point we... More

The hotel is very good and economically priced. There is a shuttle bus from the closest station to the hotel. Whereas the mono rail station towards Haneda airport is at a walkable distance. Good location and very clean.

We stayed here for two nights when we arrived late from Haneda Airport. It is really easy to access on the airport line and 5min walk from train station. It is in a great location - heaps of food options around and close to the city without all the hussle and bustle. There is free breakfast included as well -... More

This hotel is in a great location when arriving from Haneda airport - only 15 min on the mono train from the airport and 5 min walk from the station. This no frills hotel represents good value for money with free Wi-Fi and breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for anyone arriving from Haneda Airport. We stayed for two nights... More

We stayed 1 night having arrived at Haneda Airport at midnight. The hotel is accessed from the airport via the Keikyu line which is real easy. We chose the hotel as it is a 2 min walk from the rail station for both the Keikyu and JR lines. The hotel is part of the Toyoko-inn chain which provides low cost... More

Stayed one night here. Conveniently located to oimachi station. The rooms are typical but nice of budget hotels with a comfortable bed. The hotel was fairly noisy - noise emanated from the echoey corridors of the hotel to the sneezing people 5 stories below on the street. Good internet but breakfast was lacking in creativity.

Clean rooms, comes with a japanese style breakfast. I liked the location of the hotel and the fact that it was located just a few blocks from the train station. There's free wi-fi and laptops in the lobby area where I was able to check/send emails. The only negative is that you need to vacate your rooms from 10am -... More

Adequate. The breakfast, though, could hardly be called that. It consisted of coffee, orange juice, those abysmal crustless Wonder bread sandwiches filled with mayonnaise and egg that the Toyoko Inns favor, and plain white rolls. The view across the street of Shinagawa Station from our tenth-floor window was neat but a little noisy.

I now always stay in Toyoko Inns when in Japan if I can get a room. The rooms are tiny, but have a desk, free internet, and are comfortable. They are usually close to a train station and typically cost only 6000 Yen/nt.

Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
