Check in was overcomplicated with my only request (a double bed) making me feel I has requested a Mexican band and a juggler! The location is really easy for the station with a few eateries dotted around outside. The house restaurant was really disappointing from slow service through the poor menu and finally it not being part of the hotel... More

Although the hotel may look so-so, their service is definitely superb and their hotel rooms are really nice...definitely worth the stay there! The higher you stay, the more you will be impressed by the view outside!

Plusses: + Location - right next to Shinagawa station + Restaurants nearby + Quiet rooms + Bed was comfortable Minuses: - Nearby restaurants all close early - On-site restaurant is very limited and also closes early - Lounge closes early - Breakfast buffet has very little to offer - No fitness center

Stayed in this hotel during my 4 nights stay. Staff is friendly, hotel room is well equipped and lovely. Everything was in place when we check-in. Bed was comfortable.Only drawback is that its checkout time is 10am. Apart from that two thumbs up.

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
