The Daiwa Roynet hotel Tokyo Osaki is a fantastic property. The location is convenient, right in the business district of Tokyo and just a minute away from the Osaki station. The place is well connected and you can avail of public transport easily to travel to any part of Tokyo. Eating joints, departmental stores are really a stone's throw away... More

I stayed here for about 3 nights, one was an additional add-on night, very unplanned. Overall, ok stay. Highlights: gym downstairs is AMAZING!, they have self-service laundry, staff will attempt to help you in any way possible, if they can understand you (some don't speak/understand English very well). Cons: gym is not free, you have to pay $10 a day... More

When I visit our local office near Osaki train station, I like to stay at this hotel. The rooms are rather small, but my queen size bed is pretty good. The Wifi is good, everything is clean and well maintained. No bar, except for the Italian place on the second floor. Each rooms seems to have a nicely programmed massage... More

A well maintained and clean hotel in a convenient location close to JR. The front desk staff are conversant in English and looks after the guests needs very well. We stayed for a week, the room may be considered small for a double room with a narrow corridor.

I stayed here for business for several days. The location offered everything you needed for business, at your fingertip. Shops are inside adjacent or nearby towers so they may not be all visible from the outside, but within a few minutes walk, there were many restaurants, banks, a post office, copy center, a florist, a big bookstore, and even a... This hotel is totally clean enough. The night staff quality was not good. Even worse, the lift had to be stopped at reception floor (maybe some security reason...) every time even customer had the room key. It was too much of a bother. Also, the lift was a long time coming & very busy in the morning time.

Great location and quality for price. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Hotel is located next to the ThinkPark Offices which have a number of restaurants and is a short covered walk to the train (JR Yamanote Line - Osaki Station). Very convenient! This hotel was great for our two night stay in Tokyo. We paid about 55,000 yen per person, including breakfast, which was great. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and carry all the necessities. There are plenty of outlets to charge your electronic devices, and the wifi is fast. The location is probably one of the best features. There... More

I think I am paying around $147 a night with breakfast included and I'm in Japan so that cost is pretty economical. I like the size of the bathroom compared to some other places I stayed at in the Shinigawa and Osaki vicinity. Love the ready-warm toilet seat but I think that may be a standard here at all hotels.... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
