The Daiwa Roynet is a comfortable business hotel, pretty cheap (good value) and a good location. Check-in was easy, bed comfortable, and desk good to work at. One of the bonuses given the clear winter weather was to great view of Fuji which was visible most of my stay. The local area has good eating options, and the Osaki area... More

Just booked out of this hotel this morning. Some of the staffs are really helpful. But one rotten Apple spoils the whole basket. Yesterday night I asked a male staff on duty whether I need to book the taxi beforehand, but he told me it only takes 40 minutes to reach the airport and I can book it today. Hence,... More

Thank you very much for staying at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo Osaki this time. We are very sorry for making you uncomfortable because of our staffs’ skill. Recently, we have a lot of foreign customers and we try to improve our English skills, but unfortunately we don’t have staffs who can speak English fluently Therefore, we think we couldn’t communicate... Very clean and have everything you need for your stay in the room. There are staffs 24h in the lobby with very good english. Very close to Osaki JR station which is in the Yamanote line, the main line in Tokyo. There are many restaurants in the building next to the hotel and 24h mart near the hotel. Worth our... More

Clean rooms and efficient space planning. Clean bathroom with a tub. Nothing more I can ask for after a long flight. Stayed 3 nights here and all three I slept well. They offer free coffee packets at the reception, just take it to your room and boil some water to make it. For ladies, they offer special ladies room with... More

This hotel takes only 3 minutes walking from JR Osaki station via the business distinct inside the A-class commercial buildings and on the connecting bridge between buildings. The rooms are slightly bigger than the Tokyo standard with 18.2m square. I could open 2 luggage between the desk and the bed without blocking my way walking in the room. It was... More

The location of the hotel is very good. It's only 5 minutes away from the Osaki station, on the JR line. The room is comfortable but not very big. The breakfast is good but the place where we take it is quite small. You may need to queue. Good place.

This hotel has a very convenient position - less than 5 mins by foot from Osaki station on the JR Yamanote line, and thus has great access to central Tokyo via the metro system. The rooms are comfortable for a business hotel and, most importantly for me, my requests for a quiet room at a high level have always been... More

Osaki station is a few meters away from the hotel and you can reach everywhere in Tokyo from there. Staff is "friendly and business polite", as always in Japan. the room is a bit small but enough if your stay there for 2 or 3 nights.

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
