My dumb dumb travel agent had booked us into this hotel, saying yes it is very close to Haneda airport. Jokes on me sadly. Travelers: My family of 6. My husband and I with 4 kids. 17, 14, 12 and 9. The hotel was fine by me. Not 5 stars. 4 stars. Conveniently located next to Gotanda station. The WIFI... More

Stayed here for one night on my way back home. It's just outside Gotanda Station making it a perfect spot if you carry heavy luggage. The hotel is brand new and staff speaks some english. As of other reviews yamanote proximity may be a problem, but my room was on the opposite side and anyway trains don't run during the... More

Spent 5 nights in this hotel for our trip in Dec. The hotel is literally right next to the JR Gotanda and the Metro Gotanda station. So it is very convenient. We have three people so we had the Grand Deluxe Twin room. The size of the room is pretty reasonable compared to other Tokyo Hotel rooms. Will stay again... More

Travelers with need for a goodnight sleep and comfortable bed: Beware This hotel while newly refurbished and in a convenient location is not in my opinion for anyone staying for more than a night on business or needing a place to crash after going out to party in Tokyo. Definitely not for the first time traveler in Japan not families... More

From Gotanda station you can see the hotel it is so easy to get too! Staff are so pleasant to deal with, the room was small but had everything you could ever need it was so well designed everything fitted in beautifully no expense spared! The toilet seat was even heated, talk about a surprise!

First things first, yes the rooms are small. But for the price you pay and the location it is SO worth it!! Gotanda station on the Yamanote line is literally one minute away, making it easy to access anywhere in Tokyo! The hotel is super modern and clean and all amenities are provided. Rooms are also cleaned every day, which... More

I'm writing this from the perspective of a "westerner" because for most Japanese the issues I have may not be a problem for them. Firstly the good news. This is a relatively new hotel so the rooms and reception area are fresh and very clean. They also have a laundry room at not cost except for powder. a real bonus... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in mid October. Whilst the hotel was clean and fairly new in a convenient location there were a few problems. The room booked was for two people however I have stayed in a lot of Japanese hotels and this seemed like a single room sold as a double. The bed was just... More

I am a quite disappointed. I expected much more out of a newly refurbished hotel. The WiFi cut out every 5 minutes thereby necessitating an arduous re-logging-in process. The economy room was smaller than any other I have been in. Get ready for discomfort. Not enough amenities. The neighborhood, while residential, does not have a residential or local feeling. I... Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
