The hotel receptionist are in the 3rd floor of the building with small elevator. They have 2 elevator but 1 elevator only operated from 1st floor to the receptionist... More

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in my most recent trip to Tokyo for business and I must say that my stay was overall good. It was not that hard to find if you know the right exit of the metro rail station the hotel is nearest. From the west exit of the Meguro Station, the hotel is... More

I stayed here with my wife and 8 month old daughter for one night. The location was very good with the hotel near Meguro station and the double room we stayed in was rather large for a Tokyo hotel. Even though there were no explicit non-smoking rooms available when booking online I couldn't feel any cigarette smell, but I don't... More

I needed a hotel room in Tokyo for New Year's Eve (2013) and this hotel offered reasonable rates even just a few days before NYE. The room size and bed were reasonable considering this is Tokyo. The room was clean, comfortable and heated well. The best feature of this hotel is it's location, which is across the street from the... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
