Huge investment here has transformed a local sleepy oldeworld cliff top hotel into something really special. Over the last 3 years, the stunning new outside terrace overlooking the lovely beach below has given the best views to eat over on this coast, but now the food is slowly getting to becoming really good, the details coming in (outside heaters, children's... Breakfast was cooked well. Just be aware if there are people with mobility problems there is no... More

Stayed here for my first wedding anniversary, as my husband recommended it after staying for work a while back. The room was lovely and comfortable. We had paid for a sea view which, had it not been pouring with rain the entire time we were there, we could have enjoyed a lot more. The room seemed to have a balcony,... More

Stayed here for five nights early October. Room was extremely clean and bed was so lovely, big and comfortable. Bathroom was rather small but adequate with good shower and, again very clean. Breakfast was plentiful with good choice of cooked options. The staff could have been a little friendlier we felt at times though. The location of hotel is perfect... More

The hotel and restaurant are very posh with beautiful view and lovely decor. The chairs and tables themselves are simple but modern. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was very good, some of the bacon was a little chewy and the portions are reasonable here. There is a car park or plenty of street parking. Would love to come back... More

The Cliff is pretty special by Gorleston/yarmouth/lowestoft standards. The foyer is beautiful and it has a welcoming vibe. The parking facilities are woefully inadequate but thankfully there is plenty of street parking! I took a friend for afternoon tea. This place is pretty popular on facebook at the moment so I thought, why not. I telephoned to make a reservation.... More

We have just returned from a family lunch gathering at the Cliff Sunday carvery. The staff were friendly and helpful and the main course was delicious and good value at £7.95. Now the "but" - don't bother with the starter or desert, at £4.95 they were terrible value, poorly presented and served dried out, having been pre-prepared and kept in... More

The Cliff Hotel in Gorleston is in all a nice hotel to stay in, although there is limited car parking for about 25-30 cars, but there is on street parking close by, but beware some may be parking metre areas, The Hotel is very clean and well presented from the time you first walk in the door, we did notice...
