For the rate of private rooms here, the value is unbeatable in Tokyo. The hotel is on a quiet street, a short walk from the nearest train station. The bedding is comfortable and clean and the tatami mats are in good condition. The rooms are very small, although easily big enough for two people to sleep in. Our room had... More

I had a great experience at Aizuya. The staff are friendly and informative. The entire place is immaculately clean and smells nice throughout. There is a general good vibe/spirit that gives it a home-like, comfortable feel. The rooms are very tiny, but it is Japan, so no complaints there! (It's to be expected.) The location is quiet and safe with... More

The hotel is well located: A direct express from from the Narita airport stops at Minami-Senju station, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. So you won't be running around the city with bags. Very easy to find once on the station - just turn your google map upside down and it will correlate with the city info... More

If you do not need to be central but value atmosphere (very clean and tasteful interior!), this is the place for you! I stayed in the 3,5 tatami bedroom and loved the futon bedding. I have read some complains about having to pay for the showers (100 yen - 5mins, which is plenty!) but I have to say that I... More

Awful "hotel", only valid for young backpackers who have no respect for others. It is unacceptable that this can happen in Japan. It was the only time I've had a bad experience in this marvelous country. I could hardly sleep, because western youngsters did not stop making noise in the corridors, and nobody say nothing because after 00:30 there are... More

Considering the location, Aizuya Inn is, as others have said, a really great value. The hostel is not in a ritzy part of town, nor is it a five-star resort. But it does give you a really comfortable place to sleep in one of the most expensive cities in the world. The neighborhood is good considering what it costs to... More
