Very small bedroom (style modern japan style) Wifi not very good, and it is necessary to ask id/password in reception. Low price/quality ratio, we had a japanese friend that who helped us with booking and paying. Breakfast not included in the price of room. Expensive and not varied, and it has a limited and awkward time. Near center of Ueno.

Since I had limited time in Tokyo this hotel was a great choice. Getting there from Narita was easy with the skyliner and the hotel is really close to the station! Room was clean, the staff were super all friendly, and even the room by Japanese standards seemed spacious to me. My only complaint would be the wifi, it's a... More

I was perfectly happy with my stay at this hotel. I stayed for 19 days, so I had a good amount of time to fully assess it! I got the room at a very reasonable rate considering its central location in Tokyo, and for the quality of stay I received. This is by no means a glamorous, luxury hotel, but... More

This place is for everyone, whether solo or with family this place has a nice feel less noisy close to stations for trains or metro everything is within walkable distance, very friendly people and it has two restaurants inside. so you dont have to go look outside for japanese food..........

I can't say enough about the location and the super friendly staff in this lovely small hotel. Being family run, the service is excellent! My rooms ( I stayed there twice) were clean, simple & roomy by Japanese standards unless you want the big corporate experience. There's an amazing Japanese restaurant ( you'll want to try the Chub Chubu there)... More

This is the best business hotel at Ueno area in Tokyo. The location is very close to the Ueno Station and convenience to go to anywhere in Tokyo. Hotel staff are polite and they provide people a warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

The best thing I like this hotel is the friendliness of the staffs. They are very helpful & I have to say their English level are quite good (well, compare to most staffs in restaurants then). The 2nd best thing is their free wifi in rooms. Although you need to request for password , which changes everyday, at front desk.... More

I stayed one night in Ueno Terminal Hotel. The location is perfect, near by Ueno station and many restaurants. Service is helpfull. Rooms are small but ok for short visit. Everything was clean. If need room for one or two nights this is perfect for that.

Our stay at the Ueno Terminal Hotel was a great experience. Amazing service can make an regular hotel seems superb, and that's what this hotel does. The facilities are pretty typical of small central Tokyo hotel. The rooms are small, clean, and we were very satisfied. Our first night we stayed in a tiny room, but the next night a... More

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighborhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
