The hotel rooms are extremelly small, but the bed is comfortable, there is free internet from your room, and a fridge. But is a one person room, if you are taller then 6,2 i dont recomend the hotel. location wise it is close to the temples which is nice, about maybe 500 meters away. and transportation wise be ready to... more

My Wife and I stayed in this hotel during our second trip to Tokyo (the first was our Honeymoon where we stayed at the ANA Intercontinental - amazing!). On this trip we also went with 3 friends. The main reason we chose this hotel was cost as a couple of our friends were on tight budget. Despite the lower price... more

I stayed at Chisun Inn Asakusa for two weeks from Late May to Early Jun 08(just got back yesterday!). Location-wise, this place was great to commute to places like Shibuya, Roppongi, Ginza, Ueno, Tokyo Station, using the Tokyo Metro subway (there version of the tube). This is located next to BanDai Namco headquarters, where you are can view all the... more

The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the Tokyo Metro and Ginza Line exits for Asakusa Station. It is a nice quiet neighbourhood away from the noise and lights of Shinjuku - but the city remains accessible. 2 people to a semi-double was tight - but facilities were very clean and tidy. Staff were efficient - while English... more

Location is an ideal base for both Asakusa itself and for getting around Tokyo. The Sensoji temple is within walking distance as are the subway station entrances / exits and a very convenient Family Mart for snacks, drinks and meals. Loved having Bandai just down the road too, with some fantastic Ultraman and Doraemon statues outside :) Staff were efficient,... more

we had a friend living in asakusa at the time, so this was the closest hotel. we had no idea that the location was really convienent. it might be off the main strip by a few short blocks, but its quieter. within walking distance is the main street that leads to the temple with cute vendors selling food and gifts...... more

We stayed two days in this hotel (motel). The main reason we chose this place was it's proximity to an event we were attending. Staff are very friendly and helpful (English skills are limited). Rooms are small (even for Japanese standards). Do not book this hotel if you want to spend any time in your hotel room. If you are... more

Hotel is difficult to find (just head south from subway station for 1 mile). Asakusa is great location. Rooms are painfully small but otherwise practical. Free internet in room. Booked via Expedia.com package with united flight from LAX. more

I had a tiny double bed room, and my son a single room - both rooms the same size, with the single feeling roomier. The room has everything you would need, lots of buttons etc. The bathroom is also tiny but functional. All very clean. Had a great view and could see the Asahi beer golden "flame" from my window.... more

The 1 bed double room was so tiny that it was hard to move around, especially if there were two suitcases opened on the floor. There were no actual closet space either to put your clothes in. Toilet was also "for one at a time". We stayed there at July so it was good that the room had airconditioning. There... more
