The room was small but as said, nice price, good location and room has all basic things one needs. Not far from metro or Asakusa's best places but still rather quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Very good for active Tokyo-holiday when hotelroom is just for sleeping and an hour before and after that. more

This hotel is in very convenient location near subway station . It has non-smoking rooms, free internet , washer and dryer for guest use near the reception, nice breakfast buffet which you can buy at the time of booking on the internet and cheaper than when you buy at the time of check-in .We paid 700 yen per person versus... more

I've never been so upset with fellow Tripadvisor reviewers. I have no idea where any good reviews came from and wish I never stayed here, but maybe it was fate or maybe it was because I suspect the happy reviews are "hostel goers/backpackers". The reason is because I see so many backpackers around here. That's fine if that lifestyle suits... more

Stayed here for 7 nights. Location and value are its greatest strengths. It's near Kuramae and Asakusa subway stations, and these lines seem to take you to 90% of the places you're likely going to want to see! The room itself was small, but not too cramped. It hadn't been refurbished recently and the walls seemed to need to be... more

I was in Tokyo with my wife and a friend of ours for the Japan-Scotland game in Yokohama. I had never been to Japan before and had no idea where to book a hotel, so I booked flighst and hotel off Expedia. This deal came out as the best as we got 5 nights for the price of 4, so... more

We stayed here for several nights in June/July 2009. The rooms are small but have everything one needs, including tea-kettle and tea, mini-ironing board, and broadband cable (included in price of room). The t.v. is all in Japanese, but that suited us (I'm not a t.v. person, and my daughter liked watching the shows in Japanese). Free internet in lobby... more

When I initially booked the room through ebookers.com I was dubious about the 2.5 stars the room had recieved, but at the price... who cares. What I really didn't expect was to competely fall in love with the hotel. On arrival the staff were courteous and polite, taking our bags to our rooms for us while we waited for check... more

I stayed there for 1 week in a non smoking floor. The hotel check in time is 3pm, but I arrived about 8am, so I left my luggage there and when I came back after 3pm, they already put my luggage in my room, the single room is small (if you compare to UK hotel room size, but it remind... more

We wanted to start off our first trip to Japan and Tokyo in the easiest possible way: in a small western style hotel in a welcoming neighborhood. And indeed Asakusa and Chisun Inn provided all that. Furthermore, the double room doesn't cost much more than two persons staying in a youth hostel in the same area, and you get the... more
