Juyoh hotel offers budget room with shared bathroom. I was given room on the 7th Floor where I found shared bathroom on 6th Fl and 10 Fr. The bathrooms are very clean beyond my expectation. I like this basic japanese room style. Unfortunately, the location is not good, and very far from Minami-senju JR station. Staff are very well English... More

We stayed 3 nights in a Japanese style twin room beginning of November last year. We have nothing at all to complain about regarding the hotel itself. Staff is very friendly and the room spacious. Everything is clean and there is a common kitchen with adjacent tatami room. Do not miss out on the private bath! It's almost worth staying... More

Stayed here for about a week as a solo traveller. Pros: - Decent room -Very clean bathrooms - Free tea and coffee Cons: - Location was not the greatest. A good 10-15 minute walk to the train station, from which you were a few stops away from changing onto the main loop. Yes, it was close for Ueno and Asakusa... More

Stayed here for a week. Facilities are decent and are great for budget travellers. Showers in particular are modern and clean, and the rooms are perfect for a single person, but please be aware that they are on the small side. The beds were okay, but you can make them more comfortable by using the extra blanket as a mattress... More

This hostel is located about 10 minutes by normal walk from Minami senju station. It's actually closer than it may seem from the videos I their page. It's very easy to find, located at a bus stop. You cannot miss it. Whole area is quite quiet, although located at road. But had no problems whatsoever. As opposed to what somebody... More

I have stay here twice while visiting Tokyo. The location is about 10 minutes walk from Minami Senju station on Tokyo metro. The location is near to Asakusa and Ueno. I like this hotel as most of the facilities such as drinking water, wifi and air condition are provided. The bed is tatami style and they have buckwheat pilliow which... More

I've stayed here in late November / early December 2013 for 7 nights. I can now understand why it's a popular spot to stay in Tokyo. Good points: *Friendly price for an hotel/hostel in Tokyo *Private room with sharing toilets/showers *Quiet & clean place *Nice little japanese garden / living room *Free wifi everywhere *Washing/Dryer machines on the 10F *Many... This was my first time staying in Japan and I was nervous staying in a place where I had to share a bathroom but was pleasantly surprised. The restrooms and showers are very nice and modern, and are cleaned daily. The onsen on the top floor is very nice and wonderful after a long day. The staff were SO nice... More

I recommend this Hostel for single and couple travels who prefers to stay in hostels. I would like to add a few points those were missing in this hostel information. 1- There are safe boxes in the lobby and you can lock your passport tickets and valuables there. It is free! 2- Use public bus to go Asakusa, Ueno and... More

I was recommended this place by a friend and I am so happy about that. This place has a really good location close to underground and trainlines. Low prices so definitely affordable. Everything is so clean and well taken care of and the staff was just amazingly friendly and helpful! I would recommend this to anyone for any occation.
