Great little hotel. Quite small rooms, but very clean and comfortable. Good front desk service. Fantastic location in the heart of Asakusa next to one of the most beautiful and famous temple complexes (Senso-ji) in Japan. Great value for the money! For Tokyo lovers (each time I visit that city, I love it more!) it is very conveniently located, in... More

Our room was a large triple with a sofa, wifi and view over Senso-ji temple. We liked the area: Asakusa is a good neighbourhood for tourists to stay in, although not central, but perhaps not so good for business people. Breakfast was good (choice between western and Japanese), though sometimes the breakfast area was full. Staff speak adequate English. I... More

First things first, there is Wifi in the room. I'm not sure why others said there wasn't. Maybe they added free wifi recently? Anyway, I'm in Tokyo and I don't expect a big room. But wow, I was so surprised that the cheapest room ($50 per night) was even MUCH smaller than the hotels in Hong Kong. YES, freaking smaller... More

My friend and I stayed here for almost a week and were surprised to find out that they offer free WiFi in the room. The space is not so small to the point of being claustrophobic. The staff are friendly and breakfast is also impressive at the price of 1,080 yen per adult. I can see sensoji temple from the... More

I stayed there for 6 nights and that is the place i'll go again when i'll go to tokyo. The hotel is located in the asakusa district which surely is not the center, but as the undergroundstation is about 6 minutes walk from this hotel you can reach every place in tokyo very easily. The underground system in general is... More

This hotel is in a nice location, its clean, comfortable, and very affordable. If you're looking for luxury this is not the right hotel. This hotel offered the perfect homebase for our tours of Tokyo. It served as a clean and comfortable bed and shower in a good location and thats all we needed it to be! My biggest complaint... More

Arrived at the blue wave inn with my family. We had booked 2 semi-double rooms for 5 nights. After only one night stay we had to book another hotel (even though we had paid upfront for the five nights). The rooms are very small to the point I was getting claustrophobic. There was one hanger on a wall to hang... More

Didn't hear more than a couple of footsteps over two nights which is pretty impressive, otherwise it was pretty average. Bed fine, space efficient (small but not tiny), compact functional bathroom. Very close to beautiful temple complex with bustling market. Easy walk to subway station on the Ginza line.

The Hotel is located in the middle of Asakusa very well connected to stations (Tokyo Metro). The area is one of the oldest in town and from the window fo our room we could see Senso Ji temple. There are a lot of shops nearby and Tokyo Sky Tree Tower is just around the corner. The rooms are a bit... More

Perfect location, wonderful room, lovely staff - bike hire too! Close to Sensoji temple, the outdoor markets and Tokyo Skytree. Also, if you walk to the top of the street, past the hotel, and across the road there is a lovely cat cafe! Close to Ueno as well, which is fantastic for a night out. A great hotel, at a... More
