Nice hotel, modern and new rooms. Breakfast could be improved , as there is a limited choice (far too little fresh fruit), but there is a Starbucks coffee shop just 100m down the road, so rather take your coffee there. The location though is great and if you want to go anywhere in Tokyo or to the outskirts of this... more

The Blue Wave Inn in Asakusa is a pleasant and very well kept hotel. The rooms are small but very clean and the service is daily! The rooms have a small firdge, kettle so you can make yourself tea or coffee. The bed was great to sleep in and very comfortable. There are plenty of local stores that you can... more

The price is very reasonable for a relatively new hotel, with spacious and contemporary decorated rooms. If you are on a free and easy trip, spending the last day of your trip in Asakusa will be relaxing. It is also easy and cheap to make your way back to Narita Airport on the next day [Asakusa (Metro, 160¥) - Ueno... more

I stayed in this hotel for one night when I was visiting Tokyo. It was really nice. I booked it because of a cheap last minute rate and very good reviews here on tripadvisor. The staff dosen't speak good english, but they will understand you. I liked the staff, they were very nice. Recommended for people like me who only... more

Room was reasonably spacious, extremely clean with crisp white bedding. We found the staff to be very friendly and would certainly not hesitate to stay there again more

Great staff- Very helpful-----I enjoyed this district of Tokyo. Not the high rise, fast pace of other "downtown" districts. Less than 5 minutes walk to Senso-ji Temple. Go early before it is crowded. more

Stayed here as a part of a 4 day trip to Tokyo. I picked the location mostly because of the convenience to the Asakusa Subway Station (Ginza and Asakusa Line, about 5-7 minute walk) and also to the Tobu train station in Asakusa (as I was going on a day trip to Nikko). I really enjoyed the location, it takes... more

Family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights in December. The room was better than I expected, although it could certainly do with some of the furniture being removed. The room had 4 single beds with a view of the temple from a smallish window. The decor was new and modern. The bathroom was tiny but had everything you need... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June 2008, having already spent 10 days in Japan, staying in Hilton Hotels. This is not in the same class as the Hiltons, but is clean and comfortable. The first room we were given was a smoking room, so we asked to change and were given what turned out to be... more

After doing quite a bit of searching, we were having a hard time finding a place in Tokyo that would accommodate our family of four. Blue Wave Inn was a great find for us. We stayed for three nights in a quad room -- believe they only have one in the hotel -- with four twin beds. The room was... more
