Small, typical japanese hotel, not any luxury but every thing that you need for a stay. wifi at rooms is also convenient. Perfect location, very close to subway and Asakusa main attractions, easy to find the hotel. It was a little bit noisy at nights since it is on the main street, but not really important. Early checkout such as... More

After breakfast on day two we ventured out into the cold snow icy blizzard conditions which Tokyo was experiencing (the worst for 40 years), around 1 pm it was simply too cold for outdoor exploration so we returned to our hotel room. The bed had been re-made, the room tidied, however some cleaning rags remained at the base of the... More

This hotel is typical of all of the Toyoko Inn hotels we stayed in on our trip to Japan. It was clean and comfortable (although the beds are typically firm), the staff were polite and helpful despite speaking limited English, and the free breakfast of rice dishes, miso soup, bread and spreads, and coffee/green tea filling. Our non-smoking room was... More

I have a friend who's been constantly recommending Toyoko Inn but I never tried it till now and I think she's got it right. It's really, really value for money because the rooms are cheap but very nice and large (for Tokyo). It's a budget hotel so don't expect it to be fancy but it has everything you need. The... More

Easy access from Narita to Asakusa station, then roughly a 8-10 min walk to hotel. 2 mins walk to metro and with two 24-hour convenience stores across the street. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and practical and had touches which would not exist in a budget hotel outside of Japan. For example, I was offered a "ladies toiletries" pack... More

Very good value for money hotel in Tokyo, and is according to Toyoko Inn standard. Location : very good, just 5 min walk to Kuramae station and less than 10 minute walk to Senjoji temple & restaurants area in Asakusa. There is a few mini mart nearby too. Room : I booked for 'king size double' for me and my... More

We booked via the phone and from the onset, there were clear language barriers. However, this did not make them any less helpful and they were never frustrated at us nor did they make us feel frustrated. Instead, when we arrived, to explain what our choice of costs looked like (We had a choice to make it cheaper with alternate... More

The room was big, clean, modern and the bathroom had more toiletries than other hotels and it was very clean. Good sleep in big and comfy bed. Good japanese breakfast. Good location. Staff was friendly and kind, giving me a present on my arrival.

This hotel is what you can expect from a good Japanese business hotel. The rooms are small but clean and well taken care of. My hubby and I stayed here for our last night in Japan and I have no complaints. It's near Ginza, Asakusa, train stations and Narita. We couldn't have asked for more convenience.

Was there on March 2012. The location is good - near to subways. Walking distance ard 15-20mins. We usually use the Asakusa station. Sensoji temple - also very near to the hotel. Walking distance (20mins). Room is clean but then it's not that spacious. However it's just enough to rest and put yr luggages around. Besides, our window can see... More
