as other travellers mentioned, exit via ueno iriya exit the walk to hotel is least than 10 mins. Rooms are small (as usual in Japan), but very clean. Service staffs can be with a little bit more smile and helpfulness. Overall, nice place to keep in mind for future stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location within a walking distance to Ueno station, a clean room with an added bonus of a small kitchen including a fridge. However the rooms are a bit dated plus unfortunately there was a persistent strong smell of cigarettes despite the fact we took a non-smoking room.
