I am quite surprised that Hotel Marutani is not getting the love it deserves. This hotel offers good value for money and is very close to JR Ueno station (Hirokoji exit). comfortable japanese style room, with free public onsen for guest. hotel is in good location near JR Ueno station and subway. helpful staffs though some staff can't speak english very well. many good restaurant around the area and near marui department store! good value-for-money choice for tokyo!
