This very large hotel (1000+ rooms) is perfectly located, just 2 minutes’ walk away from the Shinjuku train station, the largest in all of Japan, making access to any part of Tokyo very convenient. Also, the tourist buses linking the Haneda Airport to the large hotels are offering a route passing by this hotel. The bus will drop you right... More

Me and my sister stayed here between August 22nd till 30th and loved it! We thought the rooms where just fine size wise (standard double) and had everything we needed including daily bed linen changes and razor/hairbrush/cotton buds/shampoo etc etc Very good view if on a high floor and the bar at the top (25f) I like something out of... We stayed at the hotel at the end of a wonderful trip to Japan. Whilst Tokyo seems incredibly spread-out, the Metropolitan is in a great location a short way from the Ikebukuro subway station which has great connections to the rest of the city. The hotel was everything you would expect from a decent city hotel. The rooms were small... More

We absolutely loved Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo. The room was huge and beautiful, the bed was comfortable. We could see Mount Fuji from our window every morning and a good portion of the Tokyo skyline. The building itself is super classy, with beautiful bamboo trees, stone siding, waterfalls, and marble floors/walls. The staff spoke great English and was extremely courteous. We... More

Great Tokyo hotel , sumptuous breakfast (you have your choice of Japanese, Chinese or Western or all of the above) and very friendly Staff. The room was tiny but very comfortable, they even provide you with pijamas. It is near the subway and very easy to find (...in Tokyo !! ) I would consider staying there again !

We stayed here in on our trip to Tokyo and it was a great location. Everything was easy as they had a shuttle bus to and from the airport (at an expense). And it was very convenient to walk to the train station and access restaurants. The rooms are small as to be expected in Japan but was clean and... More

The reason I picked this hotel was because it was an airport limousine designated bus stop and we’ve never stayed in Ikebukuro before. However, little did we know that, the closest train exit closed at 10pm so we had to take the long way back to the hotel. The room was clean, a little old but compact and sufficient (nothing... More

The Metropolitan is a high rise hotel about a 5 minute walk from the Ikebukuro Station. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and shopping in the area, but no significant tourist sites. That last item is not a problem with the close and easy access to the excellent subway and train system. There is also a supermarket about... More

My family and friend spend 4 nights in this hotel with a very preasure time. The location is great and we enjoy clean, enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. My package is be take care in good hand too. I will choose this hotel again if I have next stay in Tokyo.
