Close to the JR station and easy walk. The hotel feels comfortable and modern. Staff friendly and great breakfast including both Japanese and western style foods. Although the room is a small, it's what you should expect for this price range in Tokyo. Plenty of cheap eating places around and the usual department stores. Would go back again.

Location is great, about 5 minutes slow walk from Ikebukuro station even with heavy luggage. You don't have to cross any big roads or stairs which is a plus when dragging luggage along.
