This is a very affordable hotel opposite the Sumo wrestling arena. This is unusually cheap hotel. You can´t check in before 15:00 you can leave your luggage and come back later. The location of the hotel is excellent many places of interests are within walking distance. Asakusa can be a nice walk for a couple of kilometers. Akhihabara is only... More

My husband & I stayed 9 nights at this great budget hotel while on a special "Sumo Trip" this past Sept. The Kokugikan Sumo arena is just across the street and it's also right across the street from the JR train station. I made our reservations 9 months in advance by calling the hotel directly and paid the full rate.... More

Second time staying at this hotel, wonderful as always. Staff very friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy. House keeping is excellent too. Safe area. Managed a few times to go for a run along the river. Located near a variety of shops, restaurants and the Theater X Cai. Each morning the breakfast is laid out with a variety of cuisines.... More

This was my 5th time to stay here. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are usual size for a business hotel, but good quality and comfortable. There's an optional breakfast - but if you go just across the street there are many restaurants and izakaya, so there are a lot of choices for where to eat near the hotel. Good... More

This hotel's name in English is the Pearl Hotel Ryogoku. But no, this hotel is not a Pearl. My tour group and I stayed at the Pearl Hotel Ryogoku for 3 nights, Friday-Sunday. Location: It's 2 streets over from the Sobu Main Line... 1 stop away from Akihabara and 20-25 minutes from Hakajuru and "downtown" Tokyo. The hotel is steps... More

Room is tiny but I guess that's normal for Japan and one cannot forget that it's budget hotel. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is super tiny but well designed and super efficient for such a small space. Big plus goes for Japanese style toilet with washlet. Buffet style breakfast was excellent every single day. Hotel's staff English is very poor to... More

The hotel is perfect for shot business travel in Tokyo, specially with the value for money it's superb, I'm sure with same amount of money you may can't pay for one night at a love hotel in Tokyo! The overall all cleanliness of the hotel is more than average, hotel water is 24/7 available. Vending machines available at many floor,... More

Very small rooms but close to train station/ sumo wrestling arena and many noodle bars. Quite tired and old fashioned but reasonably priced. Breakfast consisted of lots of choice/ fruits/ fish/ bread/ chips??!!

First of all this is a budget hotel so there are things that are to be expected. Once you realise that, it is a pretty great little hotel. A couple of things I thought worth mentioning for other travellers.: 1. The rooms are really small. We stayed in a small twin room, which is a single room with an extra... More

I stayed here during a 4 night city break. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean. The bed were great! The softest I've had in a while. The large soaking tub in the bathroom was nice to come home to after hours of biking and walking. The neighborhood is very relaxed and quiet... More
