This hostel is great, super clean and super amazing staff who help you with everything you need. Toilets and showers are spotless and maintained regularly. Rooms are spacious and have good AC. Location is great for Tokyo for this price, stations are close by, just a short walk over the bridge. They also put out little flags of where the... More

My first impression was this hostel was really quiet. I guess it was that signage outside that asks all the guest to tone down noise levels because they have been getting complaints from their neighbors. Compared to its fun filled sister Khaosan World, Samurai is very laid back. I did not see a lot of guests loitering around aside from... More

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good: 8 minute walk to Asakusa station (with good connections and tranfers by (JR)train and subway) and the nice Asakusa neighbourhood. We had the small private room which is real small, but has airconditioning.

Asakusa is a nice are of Tokyo, all though the concentration of tourists here is larger than elsewhere. The area has a temple, a market, restaurants and bars, and the two subway services will take you to the city centre in no time. The hostel is located five minutes away from Asakusa city centre, in a more quiet residential area... More

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my travels around the globe. Highly recommended by me. The staff is amazing and location is great. Close to metro and subway stations and shops and restaurants are close as well.

The hostel is clean, friendly, has all your travel essentials, good tips and is in a very convenient location for accessing the city and surrounds. Good local restaurants and plenty of vending machines and shops. The room was tiny but didn't bother us at all, if anything it encourages more people to spend time in the common areas. They have... I've been traveled Tokyo on the 4th week of May with my buddy. We spent 3 days at Khoasan Samurai Guesthouse. Actually we booked 2beds in mixed dorm room but we were upgrade to twin room with no charge. Thank you so much! The room is a little small but that's normal for Tokyo guesthouse. - A kitchen and common... More

The staff are very friendly, helpful and translate things for you which is great. The place is nice and clean, rooms are spacious, free wifi and internet. Kitchen well equipped. Would recommend for Japan as the price is pretty good too!

We were traveling with a group of 11 and ended up staying here for 2 nights. The location was very good, not far from the metro and in a quiet neighbourhood. It's not in the thick of the action, but we liked that. A short walk gets you to a bridge over-looking a nice river where it looks like you... More

We only stayed one night. We had to arrive late and they gave us splendid directions and instructions. Comfortable room with the signature Japanese bunk beds. The shared bath and toilets are clean. The computer area in the lobby is a hive of activity til late into the night and that hostel vibe is very nice. We made ourselves some... More
