This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my travels around the globe. Highly recommended by me. The staff is amazing and location is great. Close to metro and subway stations and shops and restaurants are close as well.

The hostel is clean, friendly, has all your travel essentials, good tips and is in a very convenient location for accessing the city and surrounds. Good local restaurants and plenty of vending machines and shops. The room was tiny but didn't bother us at all, if anything it encourages more people to spend time in the common areas. They have... I've been traveled Tokyo on the 4th week of May with my buddy. We spent 3 days at Khoasan Samurai Guesthouse. Actually we booked 2beds in mixed dorm room but we were upgrade to twin room with no charge. Thank you so much! The room is a little small but that's normal for Tokyo guesthouse. - A kitchen and common... More

The staff are very friendly, helpful and translate things for you which is great. The place is nice and clean, rooms are spacious, free wifi and internet. Kitchen well equipped. Would recommend for Japan as the price is pretty good too!

We were traveling with a group of 11 and ended up staying here for 2 nights. The location was very good, not far from the metro and in a quiet neighbourhood. It's not in the thick of the action, but we liked that. A short walk gets you to a bridge over-looking a nice river where it looks like you... More

We only stayed one night. We had to arrive late and they gave us splendid directions and instructions. Comfortable room with the signature Japanese bunk beds. The shared bath and toilets are clean. The computer area in the lobby is a hive of activity til late into the night and that hostel vibe is very nice. We made ourselves some... More

This hostel is cheap in terms of Tokyo prices. And for the money you're getting a cosy bed and clean bathrooms. There are a lot of small annoyances but they can easily be overlooked depending on one's adaptability. The showers and bathrooms are all over the place, if some are occupied you're getting a real workout climbing all the steps... More

Location is good. You won't be able to get to Asakusa station only using JR due to it a bit outside the yamanote line but it is very well connected. It is on a quiet street with many shops around as well as bars and food places within 10-15 minutes walk. Many budget places are close by, you can get... More

Super nice stay! The personal was friendly and ready to give you the best kinds of service possible. The area had a old feeling and was quiet which we liked. The metro system was easy – we took the Ginza line to Shibuya or Ueno station where the JR line was, so places like Harajuku and Shinjuku was never far... More

Tokyo My fiancé and I stayed at Khaosan Tokyo Samurai in November 2013 and we found our stay to be a very pleasant experience of Japanese hospitality and the Tokyo experience all rolled into one. The staff are the true gem of this hostel and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best that it... More
