With reference to most of the positive reviews posted, this hotel did not disappoint at all! This is our 1st visit to Tokyo and we spent 5 nights at this hotel. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped, including microwave, hot plate, fridge, tv & room wi-fi access. Shower water pressure is very good and water heater effective. The split... More

This is a much older property compared to most of the Mystays properties I have stayed in. Reception was pleasant and helpful. The only rooms available were smoking rooms. Being a non-smoker I made liberal use of the air spray and opened the window as much as I can to let the fresh air in. I couldn't keep the window... More

If you manage to get a super deal price wise MyStays Asakusa might be OK if you are looking for a simple accommodation in the Sumida area, but be prepared to get a tiny room not properly cleaned with a high constant noise from the intersection just on the corner outside of the hotel. Our room had items from former... More

First of all, I recommend booking through their website rather than third party websites such as booking.com because it ended up being cheaper. We saved 6,000 yen from doing so as they have package deals that you can choose from. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from JR Ryogoku station or a 5 minute walk to Kuramae subway station.... More

Stayed here with my Family last spring. It was our first time ever in Japan but we were able to locate the hotel with ease! Train stations were just a few minutes away, location was in a quiet neighborhood - near convenience stores/restaurants, staff were helpful and the facilities were a-ok! Considering this hotel again for our next Tokyo Adventure!

This is a tipical western hotel: good bed, desk, LCD television and an ok bathroom (with a small bathtub). There is no cleaning service, so prepair to pay for it, including new towels and bed sheet. The great advantage of this hotel is the location: near the metro and, mainly, near Asakuza and all its "must see" spots. There are... More
