Okay the hard bit is getting out of Shinjuku Station. If you can find the West Exit you have a head start. I'd like to be more specific but the hotel is only 4 blocks away and still it is confusing from wherever you exit the station from. Once you're out ask folks and you'll get there and from then... more

Of all the hotels I booked for my Japan holiday I as most worried about this one, but to my surprise the hotel was great, had an amazing location less than 5 mins walk to Shinjuku station, bars, cafes and restaurants. Rooms were not as small as expected, we booked single rooms ar around $105 AUD a nite. Decor is... more

The rooms were very small by Western standards, but it was perfect for me, as I stayed in a room alone. Very clean rooms with working amenities. Internet was available at the time in the lobby for a small per-minute fee. The staff were helpful and even though there were some miscommunications, they did a good job with figuring out... more

The hotel is in a winding streets of tall buildings. Since not all city maps are in English it can be difficult for tourists to locate the hotel street. Good thing they have an English neon signage at the top of their building. Asking the locals with your hotel map on hand is helpful enough. Very near to Nishi-Shinjuku Marunouchi... more

NISHI Shinjuku Hotel is in a quiet area, 5 minutes from where the lights of Shinjuku are and Shinjuku station. Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Room was small compared to United States hotels but on par (size) with European hotels. We knew that going in and we were almost never in the room. The staff was very friendly.... more

First of all the service in Japan is just the best. The country sets itself apart from the rest! The location is really great as you can walk to the train, and being in Nishi Shinjuku is anything but a pain. It's so convenient and a great hub to explore Tokyo. The trains are so easy wherever you want to... more

I stayed here for three nights last week. The location is amazing, close to Shinjuku station and lots of food and shopping. the rooms were clean, although super tiny, especially if you have more then 1 luggage. we were two people and had to move one of the beds to make room for our luggage. the bathroom is big though.... more

Just got back from Japan and stayed in the Nishi Shinjuku for two nights in Tokyo. Good location, easy 10 min walk from Shinjuku station. Small but satisfactory rooms. Nice little restaurant with a good buffet breakfast for 850yen. Enough English (and a little Japanese from us) got us through. Recomended. more

The tiny efficient room was to be expected in Tokyo, so we found it rather comical and not an annoyance. The staff was very pleasant and spoke English quite well. Breakfast was nice, but the environment could be difficult to eat in if you are a non-smoker. Their website included a detailed map on how to walk to the hotel... more
