This hotel was great value, everything was kept clean and in good order and the location was extremely convenient, close to all local points of interest. On arrival we were able to check in early and given a room with a decent view on the third floor. We were very happy throughout our stay, had a decent amount of room,... More

Perfect location for train/ metro/ bus and many eateries. Very short walk to electric city, Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone. Tea/ coffee making facilities/toiletries/even slippers & pyjamas if needed! Staff helpful although not much English spoken bug happy to store our luggage for a rest hours.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Both time I've requested for room with street view and got what I've requested for. Actually, they put me in the same room, 1027. This room has its plus. It was a room that didn't share its wall with other rooms. So, you won't hear any noise from the room next to... More

Our 3 night here were arranged on the recommendation of our travel agent and the location was just perfect. The area is alive with hustle and bustle 24 hours a day and needs to be experienced to be fully understood. The surrounding streets were a mecca for food lovers with small Japanese food outlet everywhere. We ate at many and... More

This hotel was in a convenient location being in the centre of many restaurants and close to the Shinjuku station which included the JR Yamanote line on which you could use the JR pass and gave access to a lot of the Tokyo sites and also the airport line. The hotel was value for money but the room was tiny.... More

This was our 2nd stay here. We stayed 5 nights. As stated in our last review, fantastic location – just a short walk from Shinjuku Station. The staff were always friendly and helpful and their English was good. The rooms are small as are all Japanese hotels. The beds were comfortable, the room immaculately clean. Full marks to the housekeeping... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
