I just stayed in ibis Kyoto, which seems a little newer than this one, but here I didn't have to wait in line for breakfast and the location was superb free wifi is also good. Good value for money in Tokyo shinjuku. Rooms are small but that is Japan

I lived in Room 310. The space is big enough to open two 26-inch suitcases and the comfortable warm system. The bathroom is renovated and has clean and nice floor. We can connect the wifi easily and fast. The double bed is really comfortable for us. The ibis is near the JR Shinjuku Station and takes 5 minutes to arrive... More

The location is very good near subway . Easy to go everywhere. Good location for eating and shopping. By walking can easily surf everything what you need. No doubt to choose Ibis Shinjuku. Will stay again for next trip.

During my first trip to Tokyo I decided to try and cut costs a little by staying for part of my trip in a budget no frills hotel. When researching where to stay my friends and I found the Ibis located in Shinjuku and decided that it met our needs. Located a short walk from Shinjuku Station, the hotel is... More

Great location in Shinjuku station area. Easy to find but use your language skills and follow the path if you're in Tokyo for the 1st time and undergo jetleg sympthoms. Staff were great, some of them, and arranged to store my luggage for a few hours while waiting for check-in. I could benefit of an earlier check-in, although I do... More

I went on a business trip to Japan last week and stayed here for 6 nights. This hotel is 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station West exit which also is very close (2 min walk) from the Limousine Bus stop for Airports. Many restaurants and shopping mall near by. Very useful location for travelling to different parts of Tokyo by... More

Typical Tokyo hotel in that it contained small room, breakfast was average and decent priced, it is a no thrills hotel that is very close to Shinjuku station (once you find the right exit! 18A by the way which is close the Ueno and Maranouchi lines I believe). Would recommend for a business or tourist traveller for short stays if... More

We had a group of 5 (3 Teenage boys and 2 adults) in 2 rooms - the triple room with the 3 singles was a much better room size wise as the double room was very, very small. The rooms were comfortable and the location of the hotel is within an easy 10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station with McDonalds... More

This hotel has good location since it is not far from Shinjuku Station (exit B4). The staff are friendly, the room is tiny for 2 persons, and the bath room needs to be renovated somehow as it looks old (not fresh). We may consider to stay at this hotel again, but will try to look for better alternatives.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
